I was wondering how much is too much for a makeup artist? I don’t want to do my own makeup. This is what the package includes:
Here is one package; Package #1
Includes waterproof airbrush makeup, false lashes, our infamous body glow and light touch-ups before walking down the aisle.
Similar to our “Blushing Bride” package, plus light touch-ups at the end of the ceremony to be “camera ready” during family photos and before the reception. (package highly recommended for summer brides)
For the bride who wants it all! Our makeup artist will be your personal stylist for the wedding and all wedding events including: engagement photos, trial run, bridal shower, boudoir photos, Mother of the Bride, and much more. (SEE BROCHURE BELOW)
How much should each cost in your opinion? Thanks so much. I love this site.

I think this question depends a lot on how experienced the make-up artist is and what region your wedding is in. My cousin did my make-up for my wedding, but as a professional she charges $100 for the bride and that’s regular Mac make-up (not airbrush). So I think that would be similar to your listed Package 1. That is what she charges in San Diego. Hope that helps.

I also think it depends on where you’re at too. Like some artists that I spoke to in Atlanta were like $600 for similar to the middle package. But a little more out in the country I was able to find like $100-150. I was able to work with one lady who cut me an awesome deal and is doing my hair and makeup for $100 day of (but that’s not airbrush). Of course it took a lot of googling and calling to find someone.

@janeb15: Ahh! Are you a Cincinnati bride? That sounds identical to the description of a particular Cincinnati makeup artist I looked at…

I think my application was just under $200 including airbrushing and lashes. My makeup artist came onsite at 6am though, so worth it!

My hair and makeup is $165.00 and that’s for airbrush. She is coming to the room as well which will help keep stress down 🙂
