Um. Mine was free with the purchase of my rings.

If you’re having it enlarged I could see it costing a bit especially due to the platinum needed.

If you had it made smaller I’d say you got really ripped off lol. Sorry.

First resizing is typically free.  I’m sure there is a cost associated if you get more than one.  And it can mess with the integrity of the ring if you keep getting it resized.

Also, why wouldn’t you research before you had them resized?  Nothing you can change about it now.

Usually it’s free where you purchase it.  The store my ring was purchased at closed so I took it to Jared jewelers and they charged me $80.  Not too bad. They told me the price also depends on the thickness and type of band.  Mine was a 2mm white gold, so fairly easy.

If it wasn’t at the place you bought the rings, considering that’s around $150 US for 2 rings (one of them being platinum), I’d say that’s not unheard of, esp if you’re in a HCOL area. But as PP said, it may be on the high end if you were just sizing down. All of this also depends how many sizes up/down you went.

I think I paid $55 when mine was sized.

My jeweler charges $55 and that includes a rhodium dip.

For two rings (one being platinum) it could be reasonable. Like the others said, if you had them sized up it’s normal to have to pay for the additional gold and platinum the put in, especially if you had them sized at a different place thatn you purchased them

Depends on where you bought it from and where you brought it to.  I had mine resized for free by David Klass as he designed the ring and this was sizing up.

$80 – I sent my back to Adiamor this week to be sized down. It would have been free if we’d done it within the first 90 days of purchase. I’m sure we could have found somewhere local that charges less, but it would void the warranty.

My jeweler resized mine for free and will also polish my rings too and clean the diamonds for me.
