Um…  I think I’m going to be taking off 3 weeks.  We will be on our honeymoon for 2 of the weeks and then will have people in town already for the wedding, so most likely will be 3 weeks.  I get 5 weeks a year off plus every other friday, so it wont be as though I use all my vacation up at once.

Our wedding is out of town for us (roughly 6hrs drive) so we are leaving Wednesday after work. Taking off Thursday, Friday and Monday. Thursday and early Friday to tie off last minute things. Friday his family will likely be coming in. Saturday wedding. Sunday, relaxing brunch with family only before heading home. Monday, relax day!
Our Honeymoon isn’t until a month later but for that we are practically take the whole month off….I’ve been saving up my vacation days since we’ve been engaged for this!

We are taking the week before the wedding and the week after the wedding off.  We will just have a short honeymoon following the wedding.

I freelance so I have the luxury of being able to just not take on work over the wedding. FH has booked 3 weeks off from his work and I’ll probably try to take off an additional 2 weeks prior to the wedding to get the final details done (like the edible favours and such).

Depending on how much you have to do, 2 days is certainly enough time. I only took of Thursday and Friday (the Monday after was Labor day so a free day off for me) and I was done with everything for the wedding by noon on Friday. I spent the rest of the day on Friday getting pampered and enjoying our pizza party “rehearsal” dinner.

I took Wed-Fri for the actual wedding, so three days. But we did an out-of-state wedding, so we had a lot to do in thsoe three days.

I am planning to take Thursday and Friday off to get last minute things done and prepare for the rehearsal. We have lots of family coming in from out of town so I’m sure there will be a lot of entertaining as well.

We are going out of town Sunday-Tuesday so I will head back to work the following Wednesday.

I think taking Thursday-Monday off would be great for you.

Our wedding is a Saturday. I’m taking off Thursday and Friday. Thursday will be my wind down day to get out of work mode, then Friday is the rehearsal, and we can decorate a bit.

I’m taking the week after off because we’re going on a mini honeymoon to Vegas or something like that. Then we’ll take a big beachy vacation in Nov or Dec.

I’m taking 2 full weeks off. We’re getting married in California, so I’ll be out there a week before the wedding, then we leave for our honeymoon the day after our wedding.

I think that taking Thursday and Friday off would be a good idea.

I will be taking off two days before the wedding, (Thursday and Friday), and will have the week off (spring break; I work at a school) after the wedding.  We will be having our full honeymoon in the summer when I am off, and a mini-moon after the wedding, prob Monday.

We’re getting married on a Friday, so I was thinking I’d take the whole week off before the wedding, and then maybe a couple days of the following week.  We’re getting married in our current hometown, but our families live further away, and are planning on coming in a few days to a week before the wedding, so I just want to finish up last minute details and hang out around the pool with family I don’t get to see that often.  I need to save some time (I get 3 weeks paid vacation a year, plus can bank OT for about an extra week’s worth) so we can take a honeymoon at a later date, so I think I’ll go back Tuesday or Wednesday of the week after the wedding.

I’m planning on taking the Thursday and Friday before the wedding and the Monday and Tuesday after the wedding. I’m a teacher so I’ll be leaving my kids for a few days and it’s my first year of teaching  so I feel a bit dodgey for taking time off but I figure it’s a wedding….
