@Missido:  My wedding is on a Saturday. I took off a half day on the Wednesday before and full days off on the Thursday and Friday before. I also took off the following Monday.

@Missido:  1 month before and 1 month after, but my job is not the norm!  I teach at a university and can freely take the summer off if I choose to since I’m only obligated to work 9 months. ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m glad I switched jobs early last year! because I went from having a crappy pto/vacation package to a much more generous one!

I’m taking 4 days off for my bachelorette party weekend ๐Ÿ™‚ (Vegas)

3 days before the wedding

2 days after the wedding

8 days for honeymoon!

Right now I have Friday before off, the wedding is on Sunday, then Monday is a holiday.  I need 3 weeks for the honeymoon later in the year!  ๐Ÿ™‚

I may end up taking all of Thurs off, too, but fiance can’t, he only gets 15 days of vacation.  I’m going to have my SIL/MOH pick me up and bring me to my hometown so I can ride back with my husband afterwards.

I’m takin the week before the wedding off for last minute running around and the week after for our honeymoon. I’ll be going back to work the wednesday after we get back from our honeymoon so I’ll be off a total of 16 days

I took a total of 13 days off, but that worked out to being out of the office for over 3 & 1/2 weeks due to holidays. I had thurs-sat and we got married on sunday. We left the next day for 15 day honeymoon and returned on a tuesday night. We spent the next 5 days relaxing, doing laundry and getting over the jetlag before returning to work the first monday in Dec.

3 days before the wedding was plenty for me, just about everything was done by that point, so that left me to go crazy while Darling Husband was at work.

We’re marring on a Sunday. I’m taking Thursday and Friday before and Monday and Tuesday after. My best friend gets married three weeks later, so two more days off. Then 13 work days off for the honeymoon in November, but with the weekends I’ll be away from the office about 17 days.
