It depends on the stone size and shape, and also palladium is not very popular so some jewelers won’t work on it, or will charge extra. It usually costs about $40-$80

@GoldfishPie:  +1 agree, would nix the palladium. Too difficult to find jewelers to work with. On top of that palladium is worth about 40% less than gold (actual price per ounce) yet some jewelers/websites charge similarly to gold for it!

On the positive side palladium is quite a bit less expensive than platinum though.

I have been considering reseting my diamond as well. Have been told about $100 or $150 to reset although I have not done much research at this point.

I recently had my diamond reset and it was 100 dollars.

My husband bought my diamond and setting separately – we paid about $80 but that’s partly because I wanted it NOW. We took it in at 4 pm on a Friday and picked it up before noon on Saturday. Some Other places we checked quoted us lower prices $20 to $60 but it might take up to a week or more for them to get to it.

My ring was white gold – idk if they will charge more to work with a paladium setting. If Iwere you I would call around and getquotes.

@Princesslaylaxo:  I love my palladium ring!  I absolutely would not get any other metal.  Are you asking for just the cost of setting it, or that plus the actual cost of the setting?

I have been quoted $100 to set an outside stone from multiple jewelers both local and online.

About $100, but you may have a hard time finding someone to work with palladium unfortunately.
