I’m on the search for my bridesmaids and flower girl gifts. I’d like to get them jewellery since it will complete the look for them on my wedding day. The thing is, I’m paying for all of their nails, hair and makeup to be professionally done. I’m spending a significant amount on all three of those services for them so they don’t have to. I don’t want to spend a significant amount on them for their gifts because if you add up what I’m already doing for them, it’s over $2000 already. Do you think they will apprecaite a gift of jewellery which is less expensive, knowing I am getting all those other things for them? (I know they are my friends and I should know them and all that, but I’m asking as general question)

All of the things you are paying for, while they are kind and not every bride helps with, are things you are wanting so they look uniform for your wedding.
Things to consider…Did they plan/contribute to a bachelorette party or bridal shower? How much time have they put into your day? Are any of them traveling a great distance?
I would still get them a small personal gift even if it’s less than $20. A handwritten letter goes a long way.

Have you looked on Amazon.com?
I just bought 9 three strand pearl necklaces and 9 pair of earrings to match and it was under $20 each!

I really think that you should consider getting your BMs a gift outside of your wedding. To buy them a service for your wedding is for you, and not really for them. Even if you’re coming up with a cute way to frame a photo of you with each bridesmaid, it would certainly be nice for them to have a gift that reminds them of your friendship!

The gifts don’t have to be expensive. They can be personal and heartfelt, and not break the bank!
