    @artbee:

    Same here. We’re renovating the kitchen/living room/dining room at our new house and we want a kick ass kitchen. We LOVE to cook. So we’re calling new appliances Christmas and birthday gifts for 2 years. Best gift everrrrrrr

    We usually set a limit of $500. However, with that said, Darling Husband and I are the type of people who dont by ourselves anything really. So we usually just end up buying the other mostly clothes. For instance my husband since last Christmas bought himself 2 button down shirts and a t-shirt. He’s lost 50lbs since March. He needs new pants bad! However, he won’t buy them for himself. It’s time!

    @ItsPronounced_ABear: I think most people do. We’re odd balls for sure. We have the money, but we just always think it would be best to spend it doing something for the whole family that we all would enjoy than just one of us getting something new. I’m sure lots of parents are like this.

    I absolutely love giving gifts and spending money on people…we had set a limit of $100 last year (our first Christmas being married), but I went over and spent more like $150. This year I’m not sure. I’ve been saving up for him, but I’m not working anymore so we def don’t have extra income (except from me babysitting occasionally for families I used to nanny for). So I’ll probably keep it low. I said $100-$200
