Wedding is Saturday (eek! can’t believe it’s MY turn!)
Anyways, we’re paing approx $4,000 for catering for 75 ppl. This includes 5 ppl for wait staff and 1 bar tender.
How much should I tip each of them at the end of the night (gratuity is NOT included in the $4,000)

I was under the impression that it would be appropriate to tip 10-20% of the bill if there is no gratuity included. That would be $65-100 per person in your case. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

@les105: I think that’s a rule of thumb, but it doesn’t always apply for weddings or large events because the catering is more expensive and less work than normal waitstaff. Personally, I think it’s better to base the amount of whether it’s a buffett/sit down and the number of people. Normally, I’d do $1-3/guest (total) for waitstaff and the same amount per person for the bartender.
