Sorry for having to ask such a basic question– but I’m from overseas and tipping isn’t required! ๐ I know that tipping is require/expected in there. If she charges $150, how much is a reasonable tip?
Thanks!

I lived abroad most of my life and tipping was really something i had to get used to upon moving here for college~ i can totally relate~
It’s really a gesture of how happy you are or how you appreciate their time~ there is no rule – but you would still apply a percentage~ and a good percentage to compare it to would be the percentage you would give your hair stylist or manicurist. so my sister (who livedhere a lot longer than I) tells me 10% is bare minimum/polite~ 15% is you are satisfied with the service, and 20% is “WOW I’m so impressed! you went above and beyond my expectations”
but honestly, I’m still happy to receive gratuity at all – i just feel like my hard work and efforts helped my client have a very enjoyable/relaxing/satisfying experience~ no matter how little or how much it is~ ๐

@skyla.arts: What if you book the artist for the wedding also, including for mothers, bridesmaids, flowers girls, etc.?

@skyla.arts – thank you for the reply! I think 15-20% does seem fair. ๐
