That seems great. I don’t think it’s the monetary value of each gift, but that you picked it for each person and it will mean something to them.

We budgetted for $100x4BMs,  $100x4GM+1MC and $200 for each set of parents. So about $1,300 for gifts.

We’re also paying for the BMs hair and makeup and any ties/socks/accesories we want the GMs to have for the wedding. I don’t consider that part of their ‘gift’ as we’re asking them to have those things specifically for our wedding.

We’re a little older and have the money to spend. I’m excited to give my girls their gift (I haggled with a jeweller and got a WICKED deal on four pairs of tanzanite and white sapphire earrings. A different setting for each girl.) They’re gonna love them!

We planned on $50 per groomsman and bridesmaid (4 of each) but ended up finding amazing deals on each of their gifts so we’re looking at about $200 instead. They’re all specific to the person.

We didn’t buy the parents gifts as neither side contributed anything.

For the Groomsmen/best man we did $100 each (3 of them) towards their tux rentals …I know, I know, tacky gift but Darling Husband insisted since I wanted the more expensive ones. Then we got them engraved flasks (around $30-$40 each) and matching socks off of etsy for the wedding (gift from me, Darling Husband didn’t know, he also got a pair) The socks were $12 for all 4 pairs (great deal, she didn’t have the original gold colour I wanted so I got a free pair plus 50% off or something like that. They got blue that matched the blue my shoes were!)
bridesmaids/MOH got hand made bracelets off of etsy (not specifically to wear at the wedding, they were infinity symbols on them, with a note thanking them “thank you for standing beside me on our special day” I think it said) Also they got personalized hangers off of etsy with their name (I am in LOVE with these, they also looked incredible in pictures) and we got them customized gift baskets, I picked the scent that suited each girl the best, with body butter, body wash, bubble bath and things of that nature from the body shop. I spent around $100 each on them ($20 bracelet, $30 hanger and $40ish gift basket, approximately, I don’t remember exactly)
Our parents told us not to get them anything, so since we had no clue what to get we got them each a gorgeous picture frame with our names and wedding date engraved onto it. We have given them pictures to put in it as well once we got those back. Those were about $40 each.
For my gift to my husband cuff links again off of etsy (love hand made ๐Ÿ™‚ )and a pocket watch with our wedding date engraved on it! (my dad also got cuff links)

@Artificial-Sweetener:  In total I spent $480 for the bridal party gifts

Each Bridesmaid or Best Man got a Coach Wristlet ($40 each from the outlets, so I saved a ton of money by going to the outlets)

I also got them a pair of flats to change into when they don’t wwant to wear their heels anymore ($10 each)

The Groomsmen each got a pair of cufflinks ($10 ea) and they also got a moneyclip from Coach ($20 ea)

I had 4 Bridesmaid or Best Man and 5 Groomsmen

The Ring Bearer and Flower Girl got a name bracelet (sterling silver for Ring Bearer was $50 and 14K gold for Flower Girl $100)

I didn’t include how much we spent for gifts for our parents

For my mom I bought her a whitegold necklace with a butterfly charm that has a .20 diamon in the center ($200)

For my Mother-In-Law we got her a bracelet from Pandora ($100)

For my Father-In-Law we got him a box for his watches ($60) and it was engraved with a personal mesage

We spent just over $900 on gifts for our 4 bridesmaids, 3 groomsmen, and 3 sets of parents.

Looking back I feel kind of bad though that we ended up spending a bit more on the Groomsmen than the BMs, when the guys only had to show up, whereas the girls bought dresses, came to my showers, and did a lot both before and on the wedding day.  Oh well :

We have budgeted

Maid/Matron of Honor – $125 (plus hotel the night of the wedding)

4 Bridesmaid or Best Man – $75 each

5 BM/GM – $100 each

2 Flower girls – $60 total

Ring Bearer – $30

Parents – $100 per couple

So our total is $1215
(not including the Maid/Matron of Honor hotel for the night, and one of the Groomsmen hotel as well).  I also plan on paying for things for each of the girls like robes, hangers, mani/pedis, and stuff for getting ready that I am not including in this total.

$150 per MOH/bridesmaid (4 total), $150 per Groomsman (4 total), $150 for my parents, $150 for his parents.  Both sets of parents will get a photo book from the wedding in addition to whatever gift we give them

Grand total of $1500. Wish we could spend more because they truly are invaluable and we are sooooooo grateful for everything they’ve done for us, not just leading up to the wedding, but in our lives (they are either our siblings or our closest friends since elementary school), but that’s all we can afford
