Probably more than it should be! We’ll be touring around Brazil (we’re from UK) for 2 weeks for just under £8k ($10k) total. We’d never usually spend that much on ANYTHING but we’d never usually take a trip like that… and with any luck we’ll only get married once!
Includes plenty of activities and jungle treks so would consider it (almost) value for money.
Would definitely love to do the Caribbean someday too!

Our absolute maximum budget was $2,500. We were originally looking into places in the Caribbean, mainly the Bahamas, but were having a hard time finding something under our budget. We started researching places in Mexico, and eventually we decided on the Valentin Imperial resort in Riviera Maya for 5 nights. It’s all-inclusive, so the only thing we’ll need to spend money on are any excursions we end up doing.
We were able to book through Delta Vacations and use our flight miles, so the final cost ended up being $2,300, airfare and airport transfers included.

We actually haven’t discussed a budget, but we don’t tend to overspend. We’re going to Italy for 2 weeks for the first half of October. We’ll be in Rome, Tuscany, and the Amalfi Coast! There are some really great reasonably priced places on Airbnb, and our splurge hotel is still under $200/night. We’re probably around $3500 with hotels and airfare, so plus food and experiences, hopefully no more than $5500.
Enjoy it! We’ll be honeymooning in Italy in the beginning of October…and will also be hitting Rome and Positano. I can’t wait!

About $2,500 for 9 days in northern Italy. Italy is pricy, and we didn’t really splurge. I’ve only ever travelled on a tight budget and our honeymoon was only a couple of steps up from that 🤣. It was still very lovely though.

Our budget was $3500 exactly 🙂 It’ll be worth every penny!

From memory, we spent around $10k – We went to Singapore, Palawan in the Philippines, Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City. We were gone for 3 weeks over the holiday period so it would have been cheaper had it not been during that period.

We spent 5 days at an amazing all-inclusive 5-star resort in Mexico and spent around $3k for the resort/room and airfare, and then took another $1k with us to spend while we were there on excursions and spa services, shopping, etc. We used BookIt.com to book everything, which allowed us to pay toward the honeymoon monthly in the months before we went, and that was great for us.

We spent $10,000 on a 2 week trip to Japan.

Would love to pick your brain on how you planned for this! We would like to do the same thing and keep costs under 6K. Any advice or sites to look into? Right now the flights seems to be the biggest expense from what I have found.

We had a destination wedding in Maui so we flew over to Kauai for a short 2 day mini moon before going to work. Our friend works for Hyatt and was able to get us an amazing deal at the Grand Hyatt. I think we only paid $200 a night when it averages $700 a night. We just sat by the pool and ate nachos and drank pina coladas to relax after the wedding craziness.
We are going on our official honeymoon in Italy in october and I could not be more excited. I cried happy tears when we bought our tickets. I have dreamed of going to Italy my whole life. I think we are going to be at about $8000 for 9 nights in Venice, Positano and Rome once food and activities are added in.

It depends on how much wedding money we get! Kidding…kind of?
We paid $2400 for flights and hotel to Paris, we’ll be there a full week. That obviously doesn’t include transit/food/experiences. We’re hoping to do it fairly modestly, but we also don’t want to sacrifice experiences. So we’ll take the train from the airport instead of a taxi/private car, but we want to do a really nice dinner or two. I suppose I’d like to spend no more than $1,500-$1,700 or so on that, but it may not be realistic.

Yep, I will send you a PM!

We hit around $4.5k, we honestly probably could have done it cheaper but we bought things everywhere we went and did a lot of excursions
Cruise to carribean was around $1700
flights to texas and hotel (where cruise left from) $700
spending money (all food was covered on ship)

We also did a mini moon! My husband was able to get us free flights and hotel in Vegas through a work rewards thing. We also just sat around the pool and drank frozen drinks all day! It was great! And so reasonable, so we don’t have to worry about having fun in Greece! Italy sounds amazing, have so much fun!

We’ll be honeymooning in Italy in October also – the first two weeks. You will love it there! Amazing food and wine and so beautiful. I’ve only spent a couple of days in Italy before, but have never been Rome or Positano and am very excited.
