jmLL:  We haven’t gone yet, but we’re going to an all-inclusive in Mexico for a week in August and we’re spending a little under $2800 for everything – flights, insurance, round-trip airport transfers, one of their nicer (but not the best) suites, and all food, drinks, non-motorized watersports, etc at the resort. From what I’ve found, Cancun and Jamaica tend to have less expensive all-inclusives, but we were set on Cancun and didn’t look around too much.

TwoStatesBride:  Love, love, love St. Lucia!!

We stayed at The Body Holiday in Cap Estate. It. Was. Phenomenal. There are no words… Gourmet food, private beach, strong drinks, spa treatments daily… It’s honestly the best resort I’ve been to, hands down.

All in, I think we were around $12k for 7 days. It was absolutely worth every penny!

TwoStatesBride:  Ahh!! So happy to hear that! I see mixed reviews all the time but I think we will love it!! We decided on a 2 story suite on the bluffs! I can’t wait!!! Was the car ride to the hotel as bad as everyone says? lol

CatieMack:  yeah i won’t lie, it sucks! lol. the vans are fine though, it’s just very long, and very windy. if you are prone to motion sickness, take half a dramamine and make sure you have a bottle of water with you. lol!

the food is freaking awesome, the pools are gorgeous and the beach sand is soft. you will love it.

We went to cocobay in Antigua. We had an ocean view villa for 5 nights and paid about 5500 in February. So worth it. i love all inclusives but wanted a smaller intimate resort for out honeymoon. So it worked out perfectly!

inclusives for our honeymoon over Christmas this year. We are interested in Sandals St. Lucia, Grenada, and Antigua because we love scuba diving, but are definitely open to other similar options.

We got engaged at Moon Palace in Cancun through Expedia. That trip was about 3K for just under a week, including airfare in March. Moon Palace was very luxurious, had amazing food and service- everything was top notch! My only advice is to book spa services, activities, and restaurants far in advance. The spa treatments I wanted were booked when I arrived, and it took me crying at concierge to get any dinner reservations. The ziplining trip we booked on Expedia turned out to overbooked, so we didn’t get to go. Still the nicest place I have ever been- tip- there are CHI blow dryers and straightners in every room!

In August we went on a celebratory trip to The Jewel- Runaway Bay in Jamaica. It was good for an all-inclusive, but not nearly as luxurious as Moon Palace! Our general experience is that Jamaica is a third world country and every where you go, you are constantly reminded of that- the people were great and we enjoyed our trip- I just wouldn’t go for a honeymoon.
