Ive heard of brides paying for their BMs makeup as a wedding gift but I’m not sure I agree with the whole “bride pays for everything thing”. If the brides asks you to be a Bridesmaid or Best Man you are willingly accepting to be in that bridal party, ergo, you know the expenses that come along with being in the bridal party.

I dont think its fair that the bride has to pay for everything (dress/hair/makeup) when shes already spending thousands on her wedding. It just doesnt make sense to me.

MAKE-UP ONLY:

Trials are $95 pp.

Bride, $220, Maid/Matron of Honor and my mother: $100 each.

I’m going to do airbrush so that’s an additional $15.

My mother and my Maid/Matron of Honor will pay for themselves.

My make-up is estimated at $55, lashes are $25 for individual, I think $10 for strip. Trial and day of are the same price. I’m in Atlanta, going in to the salon, but it’s walking distance from our venue.

Chicagoland bride here. I paid $275 for makeup (including trial) and about the same for hair and trial. Almost $600. But they did an amazing job and I wasn’t crazy about the lower cost options available on such short notice (I procrastinated…)

MrsH_bridetobe:  I got married in Alberta, so I don’t think my ladies will be able to help you in Toronto! RI like giving props to my vendors when somewhen asks, so I will answer you question regardless: A close friend of mine is a hairdresser, so her wedding gift to me was doing my hair, and my make up was done by Robyn from:

SweetBeets:  Ha I wish it wasn’t so!!! OMG and I thought it was bad that I waited till the week before the wedding to get my trial done! But at least you had started before that and realized it didn’t work. I’m sooo lucky it went well, with less then a week’s notice I would have been screwed!

Mine cost $880 (this includes a hair and makeup trial, 2 hair changes, 2 makeup sessions with Airbrush makeup and lashes) as well as 3 of my bridesmaids and my mom’s hair and makeup.
