Ours was $450 including  delivery . It was three tiers and each layer had a filling which bumped up the cost. It was frosted with buttercream in a pettern and had a simple topper I made. It was delicious!

Eta: it fed 150 and was round.

My cake is 200$ with delivery for a 3 tier cake with this design. I will be making the sugar flowers myself as I’ve done a class. Also, I’m buying a topper off of Etsy. We are using an at home baker who does a fine job, and her 200$ quote is half of what everyone else quoted. Definitely our most budget friendly aspect of the wedding!

Sorry if the picture is big. Our cake was a little over $1600. We got married at Disney World.

@pima416:  holy poop! Did they make you get that cake? or were you allowed to get a different cake, and/or have a different baker than Disney?

@mrspinesol:  No we picked the cake out. We had a beach themed wedding. Our reception space had views of their aqaurium. We had to use Disney’s bakery since our reception was insided one of the theme parks. You could have chosen any style of cake you wanted though.

We paid about $300 for ours. There was no delivery/cutting fee since we ordered it through our caterer.

@pima416:  ohhh okay. That would have sucked if they forced you to choose that cake… some people can’t afford that! It really is amazing what people can do with baked goods, though… look at that thing! lol

@pima416:  That cake is super expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for because it is amazing! It’s like a dream cake!

Ours was free, because my mom made it.  I loved it and think it was perfect, although certainly not as elaborate as many exquisite professional cakes.

She makes my favorite cake in the world (the only one I really like, to be honest) and the only way to make it more perfectly smooth would be with fondant *shudder*
