@Mrs_Grenier:  I have three Claddagh rings.  My solid silver Claddagh ring cost $25 but that was over twenty years ago.  I’m not sure how much my solid yellow gold Claddagh ring cost because my father brought me that one back from Ireland about fifteen years ago.  My yellow gold Claddagh ring with sapphire and pave diamonds (my engagement ring) cost about a thousand dollars.  How much are you able to pay for one?  You might be able to get one from here: http://www.claddaghring.com/Gold-Claddagh-Rings-s/3.htm  If not, try e-Bay!

Sterling silver is traditional for claddaghs. I just bought my SO a beautiful and affordable one on Glencara.com. Cannot recommend them enough.

I think mine is pretty good deal, I got it on sale at military exchange store 🙂 for $150 14K White Gold with 5 Tiny Diamonds on the Heart, I love the craftmanship/detaisl of the ring as well it’s not a thin ring too that will get dent or bent so easily, perfect for everyday wear, I wear mine on my right ring finger, I always want a claddagh ring I love the meaning and my husband is part Irish.

My fiance bought mine from Boru.  They are located in Ireland and have a website.  Mine ring is sterling silver and engraved with the words “mo anam cara,” meaning “my soul mate.”  It was somewhere between $50 and $75.
