I keep seeing posts about how inexpensive/expensive your dress was and it floored me to open a post and see that under $2,000 was considered “cheap” that being said, how much was your dress? Did you consider it cheap or expensive? I had a Maggie dress, but I didn’t even realize I did until I saw another blogger bee (forget who now) had the same one. It only cost me $500 and I thought that was pretty pricey!

Mine was $100! That does not count the replica I had custom made that turned out so horribly that I donated it to Salvation Army!

$450, no alterations yet.

Does your poll include alterations or not. Alterations bump me into a higher category.

$600 for just the maggie dress, and the alterations and everything probably made it close to around $750!! 🙂

I paid $414 (no alerations yet) which I consider “inexpensive” for sure. I guess I consider anything under $1k to be inexpensive when it comes to wedding gowns. I buy expensive clothes already, so my dress didn’t seem that expensive (especially for something so special like a wedding dress). My sister’s wedding dress was $2500 which I thought was very pricey (That’s how much my extremely fancy laptop cost!!).

I changed the poll to pre-alterations. 🙂

$1800 before alterations talked her down from $2080 and I didn’t want to pay that much for a dress at all but my Fiance and gma loved it on me so they decided they’d find a way to pay for it… I had left $300 in my budget for a dress… now I have a dress half the price of my wedding…

$756 with alterations. The dress came from alfred angelo, but the alterations from a local seamstress. Funny thing is the alterations cost as much as the dress =/
