I have two, they were sample pieces that should have been over $8,000 but I paid $1,600 for them and was thrilled!

Mine is a Maggie, and I think it was around $1250.

@blg529: That dress is BEAUTIFUL and totally worth every penny.  Can’t wait to see it on a real bride (aka YOU!)!

my dress was around 4500.  It’s alina by monique lhuillier.  And yes, I found that to be very expensive but I had budgeted up to 5000.  And the dress is gorgeous. 🙂

Mine was $300 and I shouldn’t need any alterations. I consider that pretty darn cheap!

My dress is $800 before alterations.  I originally budgeted for $1500, but when I found my Ella Rosa dress (style BE118) I fell in love with it even more when I realized it was $700 under budget!  Woohoo!

Mine was under a thousand. It is still the most expensive dress I have everr bought so I wouldnt call it cheap by any means. I personally am not spending over 1000 on a dress when my entire budget is under 8K

I just found my dress and will be buying it this summer! It will be 1,000 exactly before taxes and alterations. I won $500 off my dress at a bridal show though, and free alterations…so really it will only be costing me $500 plus taxes

I budgeted for about 1200 before I found out I won the prize…so I was ecstatic! I wouldn’t ever spend more than 1500 out of my own pocket. That’s just me though 🙂

Mine was about $1600 without alterations.  It was more than I’d hoped to spend, but I couldn’t say no–it’s my dream dress.

My budget was $5,000. My dress was $4,900. Alterations will be $600 (dress will be custom fit to me by the designer himself with a muslin fitting, a slip fitting, and 3 dress fittings).

It is Anouk by Ulla Maija.

ETA; I went back and forth between this dress and a $2,200 Pronovias dress. When I showed them both to my mom she said “I wish I could like the less expensive dress more, but I just can’t”. I felt a little guilty about my parents spending that much on a dress, but it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before and everyone loved it more than any of the others I tried on.

    $1200 before alterations.

    I think it’s a good price. I wanted to stay around $1000.

$3K Jim Hjelm.  Really expensive, but I fell in love and it was within my budget.  I had that whole SYTTD cry momment with my mom and didn’t want to try on any other dresses.

Mine was $2450 before alterations. I only wanted to spend $2000 or less, but what can I say? I fell in love with it and couldn’t get over it. So I’m cutting some other things to still meet our budget, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

I bought my dress @ 50% off, came to about $843.00. More than I would have liked to spend but definitely a great deal.

I didn’t really have a budget in mind set and could have went with anything, but I’m pretty freaking cheap and practical.  Mines 250 + 130 alterations from running of the brides.  while I dont think I LOVE it (i dont know since I didnt try many other dresses on), I like it enough for the price to wear it a few hours.
