    Nothing!!  My e-ring is the family stone.  It was reset from yellow gold to platinum.  Darling Husband sold the yellow gold setting and matching wedding band for the platinum setting and I don’t think he paid anything out of pocket.

    $100 for a little opal ring from Belks 🙂 It’s not necessarily a typical e-ring but its what he could afford and the white opals look beautiful against my black skintone – even prettier than a diamond! I luv the d*mn thing~

    Edit: a 2 moth salary for him would have been about 3K and we here aint accustomed to dropping that kinda cheddar on a single object smaller than a car XD

    i do not know, but i did see the letter from the jewlery company and it was appraised at 6500…but i think he got a good deal on it. probably around 5k

    @Linz1231: I was about to say that.  Mine was $1650 because we had his grandmother’s diamond so it was just the setting.

    Mine was about $2700 but we already had his grandmother’s diamond, just bought the setting.
