Ours was $390 after the insurance plan and everything; Tungsten from Zales. Wasn’t just a solid one color ring, so there was some design to it to make it special ๐Ÿ™‚

Damn. I guess we spent a lot more on his than I originally thought. His was $1,400- roughly twice the price of mine. But it’s also larger. But wow- massive price difference. And our budget is small- our wedding is going to be 10k, but I figured it was worth it.

Wow, y’all. Fiance must have picked out the most tricked out one possible. It was $1400.

We paid about 250$.  I can’t actually remember the type of metal…some new thing the store was carrying.  In my defense it’s not the ring I bought Fiance.

So Fiance HAD a ring that I bought for him many months ago but he liked to wear it and a few days ago when he was working in the yard he lost it.  So after a couple days of searching we gave up and went in and picked out a new ring.  This time he picked what he wanted and it was basically the same ring but lighter colored.

Back when I was purchasing FI’s band he was really embarrassed about wearing a ring and was worried it would look too flashy (which is why I went for a darker metal).  Seems he’s ready for some flash ๐Ÿ™‚

@JessMorgan777:  Ha just read your post.  My Fiance is a “loser of rings” too!  So he had to buy his own this time.  First time was a suprise.

I scored because Fiance bought me a bracelet that has the pink sapphires like in my ring.  He said if he ever loses his ring again that’s his rule, that he has to buy me something too!  I was like, hell no!  Just don’t lose your damn ring!!!

I think it’s tungsten or titanium. We paid about $40.00. A Sears was closing near us and it was on final clearance. I would have happily paid more but he liked it!!!!

His was 79 now it dropped to 59.  He wanted sterling silver and diamonds and Wal-Mart was the only place that had what he wanted.

this is crazy i was just thinking about all this today, he found a ring he loves that i feel is way overpriced (1600 before taxes for a simple white gold band) thats as much as mine was with diamonds and the wedding band and the setting fee for the center stone he already had! I think Im going to convince him by giving him the option of the nicer ring or the nicer wedding gift (he really wants a hand gun!)

@icetea:  Well my set cost him 12 & 1/2 times more than his first ring…so I can’t be to mad at him but it really is annoying..lol good thing tungsten is cheap!

$610.  It’s white gold with 3 small diamonds down the center

I also got a cheap titanium ring to wear when we go to places where the risk of losing it is too great (like our honeymoon).

Sheeesh i think we paid way to much! Hubby’s ring was $3,500
Its very thick 11mm solid 18carat yellow gold with a chain/link design.

We both love it too bits so i guess thats all that matters. ๐Ÿ™‚
Also he has monster hands so it looks great, any thing else we tried his hand swallowed up!

We did a tungsten wedding band for the hubby, I have a matching one, they were both around $60 I believe. He didn’t want to spend much money on “just a ring” for him and felt the money would be better spent towards other things. He likes it, he wears it, I got one to match to wear on my right hand most days beause I like the idea of matching bands. ๐Ÿ™‚ Some day I might convince him to get a gold or platinum band, but we’ll see. This one should do for 10 or so years.

My fiance wanted diamonds and platinum so we budgeted $3,000 but we found a few he liked that were only $1,500. I guess we are spending way above average, but the boy knows what he likes!
