Wow, that seems high, but that’s also a lot of stuff. Our J/P charges $60 if you just go to the courthouse to get married, or $100 to come to you. There isn’t really much planning involved, and we aren’t doing a rehearsal. She gave us a copy of the vows she normally uses, and told us we can revise them as we’d like. That’s about the extent of the planning.

That does seem a bit high. Our Justice of the Peace is $375 including all the things you listed.

Our Justice of the Peace was $150 with all the things you listed and he came to us, it wasnt a courthouse wedding.

@KaleighMarie:  $0.  My uncle got ordained online and will be doing everything, except filing the paperwork since he lives out of state.  I’ll do that.  But we are probably going to gift him in the $100 range (which I learned is typical for officiants).
