I didn’t wind up with a Maggie, but I tried on a lot and was interested in the Adorae at one point. I saw it for $1400.

Tracey is actually a Sottero and Midgley gown I believe and should retail for around $1,700. I know for a fact that I tried this dress on and I didn’t try on a single gown over $2,000.

Rita-Marie, the one I’m interested in, is being sold for $660 at the bridal boutique in my area. A steal, if you ask me.

I purchased Loretta by Sottero Midgley and I was told that it was one of the highest in the Sottero price points. I paid $1900 plus tax.

Tracey is $1649 retail based on what I see online. I wonder why your boutique is charging twice as much?

I am pretty sure that sales person was pulling one over on you since you are looking for a dress they don’t carry. I tried on a lot of Maggie dresses, and none of them were over $2000. I live in Canada, and I think wedding dresses are a bit more expensive here too, and still none of them were over $2000. I ended up buying the Shania, for just over $1600 after tax.

I’m getting Maggie Sottero Micah, and the lowest I’ve seen it online is $1,200 from an authorized retailer. Stores around here price it around $1,400. However I told two stores and they dropped their priced to $1,100 to beat it. One place said they’d sell it (ordered, new) to me for $1,098, and the other said they could do that as well or make the difference up with cutting the price off a veil, shoes, alterations, etc.

Plus I plan to call more rual areas… I’m between Baltimore and D.C., so everything is marked up more, and check trunk shows when they often give 10% off. However I think $1,100 will be the best I’ll get from a legit place because MS will blackball places that sell her dresses for lower than the MSRP. Five years ago a company couldn’t do that (dictate minimun prices for retailers), but they can now.

I was told from one store it’d cost $3,000, which I didn’t believe. Maggie Sottero doesn’t get that high from what I’ve seen.

Check online first and start calling/telling boutiques the lowest authorized price that you can find it for. They will probably at least meet it.
