ours were $980 total, so I’m not sure how much mine was by itself. maybe around $600-700? mine has nine small diamonds and is shaped to fit my engagement ring, and FI’s is a plain gold ring – both custom made. we pick them up today! I’m so excited, but also nervous because my last experience with custom made jewellery didn’t go so well. I really hope it turns out exactly like I asked! and that it does actually look good with my engagement ring!

My current band was $1084, 14K wg 1ct tw eternity band. I’m now considering a platinum version custom-made to curve a little. Perhaps 0.40 ct tw and the quote is $3000. Wow!!! Is custom always so expensive? I know platinum is expensive but…
$1084 (14K white gold, 1 ct tw)
$3000…custom-made inspiration to come (platinum, around 0.40 ct tw):

@MissDragonfly84: Your band is soooo beautiful. Can we please see more pics? Pretty please? How wide is it? Does the band seem sturdy? Is it comfortable to wear?
@Arshim: Hi! 🙂
It’s very sturdy and not overly thin (I think it’s 3.1mm wide and 2.8mm thick) as I didn’t want something that was going to feel TOO delicate. It still has the delicate look because of the design.
Here is a photo of both rings together. It’s close up so they are more delicate in person, but it shows the detail nicely:)

@MissDragonfly84: Where is your wband from? I love it!! And want one. What do they call the rectangular diamonds ? Baguette ?
Does the band stick up very high? … I want to do a stack but need a band that is as high as my current wband or else iit will “get lost” in between the bands

We got a really good deal. It’s a one carat eternity band, VS1, H color. It was $1,400 after tax. I absolutely adore it!

Your set is beautiful!!
I don’t know that it would have enough height not to get lost with your current ering/wedding band. It has good amount but maybe not quite enough.
I got it from Lord of Gem Rings on ebay and they have a 30 day money back guarentee which is really nice. You could always purchase it and see how it looks! The rectangular stones are indeed baguettes:)

For me a 3mm platinum band (€1150) and for Fiance a 3mm 18kt yellow gold band (€690) both from Tiffany.

2.8 mm plain platinum, almost $1,000.

Paid $369 (regular $500). Sorry it’s not the best photo.

@MissDragonfly84: Your ring is beautiful too! I’m looking up that seller right now ;).
I just measure. The height, looks like it needs to be 1/4 in tall.

Retails for $2400. Got a deal on it though.

My engagement ring was around $500 and my wedding ring about $360. The band is actually the engagment ring and the rose gold one the wedding ring. I wanted to add a little femininity with my wedding ring but I didn’t want to spend the earth. I bought it from SECRETs which sells jewellery with manmade diamonds and sets them into real gold etc.
I have small fingers so I didn’t need a big stone – a big stone would look weird on me and get in the way – plus I’d probably gouge myself in my sleep by accident or something!
I know I spent much less than many others – when I first got the engagment band I was jealous of friends rings – but I really like them together as a set now. 🙂

14k white gold, my band will alternate blue sapphire and moissanite. $600

So I wear 3 rings: e-ring, wedding band, 1 year anniversary eternity ring. For reference, I wear a size 7 and all stones are moissanite. The wedding band is a paper thin milgrain platinum band I bought on ebay in a his/hers set with my husband’s for $500 total, so $250 for mine. The band was a little bigger at around a size 8. I was also afraid about it getting scratched up like DH’s did and I have no patience to get it polished. So I bought the 1 year anniversary eternity band for around $500 on ebay. They work well together. The e-ring and anniversary ring protect the wedding band.
