Mine was free! It used to be my mom’s. It was the band I used at my wedding… however my husband wanted to get me one from him as well, so he got me an anniversary band which was about $220 with shipping and everything. It’s the rose gold one on top.  Purchased from Etsy.

I got mine from Gemvara during the Christmas 15% off sale. It came to around $1000 still after clearing customs.

@MrsYoshida:  Where did you get two 18k gold bands for $250?

@TroubadourTango:  I was really surprised how much they cost too! I was planning on wearing my great grandmothers band but it needs work and wil. Be almost 2k to fix 🙁 so for now I’ll wear it for the ceremony and then save up to get it fixed… Til then I’m trying to find an affordable band. I found a diamond and sapphire band that is about $800… But considering how much Fiance paid in my ering I don’t want to spend a crazy amount on a band..  And when I do it will be to fix my great grandmothers! Lol

@TroubadourTango:   I got my band for $299! It was on sale so I bought it then and there. It’s not the one  that was made for my engagement ring, but it’s pretty darn close. It’s about 0.25ct I think and the diamonds go about halfway around

Sorry for the large picture, don’t know how to resize on an iPad lol

Hubby and I couldn’t afford a lot when we originally got married. We were really young and he was new to the Army. My original set cost around $600 and then he added an anniversary band it brought it to around $1000. Well I told him that he was going to remarry me on our 10 year anniversary because we got married by the JOP due to the military the first time around and I told him that I wouldn’t get married again without a 1 ctw princess cut ring. So last December he bought a 1 ctw Leo Diamond ($7,000) and proposed. My new wedding band was $3500, it’s a 1 ctw Leo princess cut anniversary band.  While I loved my original wedding set, it wasn’t my dream ring, but it was what we could afford. If you can afford it, get the ring you want. You’re going to be wearing it hopefully for a very long time. We are renewing our vows in March and my rings are everything I ever wanted.

I got my band custom made at a small local jeweler. It’s plain 14 carat rose gold and custom made to fit around the unusual shape of my e-ring. It was only $250. Yay!

I would not want to spend anywhere near that amount!!! I have 4 bands, one is a plain sterling silver to stack or wear on vacations or whatever (not pictured). There are two my Fiance got that I had seperated (an enhancer) and a band that I got. The enhancer was $500 and the other band was $250. The enhancer is .60 tcw, so .30 each and the other band is unknown (I would guess it has more diamonds than the other two). I hope to find out soon. Here are the pics:

$300. The matching Verragio band for my engagement ring is $2000+. Nope, that’s stupid to me.

I am in the minority here, I have two different bands I switch out, and we went with sterling silver. My husbands band is starting to scratch a bit, so I wonder if in the future maybe we ought to go with something that already has the hammered look. I know they won’t last forever, and will need to be replaced at some point, but to us, I don’t feel like it is a huge deal. We didn’t want to spend hundreds (or more) on a band for each of us. But I know not everyone feels the same way.

I think my band was about $400-500, if that. It’s exactly what I wanted.
