My lazaro originally cost around 5-6k but I bought it preowned for 1600, and alterations were $20, only a slight tear by the bustle, everything else fit like a glove!!!
my dress cost $2200.00 I don’t know how much alterations are going to be .
My Allure 8850 cost $1600 and my BelAire Bridal veil cost $180 and Brianna Leigh shoes cost $200. Need to have a bustle done but no other alterations necessary. I have a friend who does alterations at a bridal salon who will do it for a great price. My veil and shoes were actually free to me because the site I ordered my dress from gives $500 toward accessories and shoes, that was another big incentive to buy online. Love it to DEATH.
Originally it costs $3119,- (€2399,-) but i payed $2469,- (€1899,-) because it was a sample. Brand new sample tough, she hadn’t even unpacked it.
It’s a Justin Alexander signature
Originally 600 at Nieman’s I got it for 107 at Last Call. I am removing the bow and rosette
I purchased mine new for $250 from a bee on classifieds…MayaBean at foundthegown.com. It was an old style Essense of Australia (D1073), and perfect for my garden wedding next summer. It arrived by post yesterday, and I am so happy that it doesn’t need alterations. Just need to add a crinoline underneath (and lost my belly!) ๐ Here is my first dress post!
My dress was $160 at a consignment shop! It’s a David’s Bridal plain dress that was then customized with lace and pearls. It’s also never been worn because the previous owner’s wedding was called off. I’m in love with it. I also bought a veil for $15.
I just got it today so I haven’t done any alternations yet. It is already the perfect length and has all the stuff for a bustle. I just need the back to be changed since my chest is a little too big. That shouldn’t cost too much though – my mom and aunt (a seamstress) will be doing my alternations for just the cost of materials. The rest of the dress is perfect. In the second picture it looks like it may not fit in the waist but that is just in the picture – it looks great in person.
It should be under $250 for everything. The photos I have do not do it justice. I need a better camera/lighting situation!
My Charlotte Balbier as £1,245 (about $1,900) without alterations. The alterations were £150 ($230) which I was really pleased with – I’m a funny shape, she had a lot to do!

No pics of mine. I had at least one or two, but they got deleted by my evil old phone from my sd card. So I don’t have any… I was scared to add them to my computer in case my fiance saw me in the dress. ANYWAY, the cost was $230, no alterations needed, and that includes the special bra that goes under it… I have a reception dress, but it was only maybe $20 max….
The original cost of my Paloma Blanca was $2765, but thanks to a sample sale and some discussion I got it to $1,300!
My dress is £1369 with vat ($2000), because i bought i bought it overseas with 20% vat, it became $1600. Its an Augusta Jones dress. Minor alteration, only need to shorten the hem at the front and lose some weight.
My dress, veil, accessories and alterations cost roughly £3.5k GBP – my mom paid ๐ best wedding present ever ๐
