$0 for the dress – it was an heirloom.  Splurged everywhere else.

juliette.eliza:  wow that’s a huge change! I bought exactly the same dress for under $1000 at a bridal salon as well. I am taking the dress in next week to start the alterations. Going to change the belt, alter the bottom a bit because it is just too long for my destination wedding as I’m going to be barefoot during the ceremony and changing the neckline to be more sweetheart-y. I lost a lot of weight since I purchased the dress so I will have to take it in a lot! So the alterations will be about $500, but it’s sooo worth it!

Not me in the dress. Second hand and in brand new condition $700- from Demetrios -$2500. I am not sure how much alterations will be but I knew the minute I tried it on at Demetrios, I had to have this dress but I didnt want to pay $2500. I was lucky enough to find someone selling theirs for so cheap. 🙂

When I first tried on my dress the tag was $5,500. Then months later I found out the store was closing down and it was 70% off = $1,650! Such a steal, matching veil was another $250 though and alterations I think will be about $250ish.

Rosa Clara Dack in Natural White, the detailing is amazing!

$140. Alterations will probably cost more than the dress 😛

$3200 for the dress (I originally set a $2500 max. Woops!). Veil was another $200 I think and hairpiece and shoes would take it to close to $3700. Painful! But I am still in love with my outfit. And to think I thought I didn’t expect hubby to spend more than 5k on my ering, which I will wear everyday for the rest of my life yet i parted with that just for my outfit for a day. Yikes. .. sounds so much worse in hindsight than it seemed at the time haha

Dress was 1,400 including tax. Alterations will be around $500 (hemming, bustle, sewing in bra, taking in at hips) So..a little over 2k. (pics are before alterations)

Before alterations mine was only $625 (including Slip + Corsett bra)… After alterations of $428 (eeps!) The dress ended up costing me over $1000. Luckily my grandparents paid for the dress, so I just have to pay alterations.

lealorali:  There was a gap in the price options. Mine was $465. Such a bargain! And it’s bespoke (custom designed by me and the friend who made it).

I clicked on the $2,000-2,500 option but I probably should have bumped it up to over $2,500 since that’s where it’ll be after its all said and done.

My dress was just under $2,300 (I think like 2,270 or 2,280). It hasn’t come in yet but I’ll definitely need alterations. It’ll have to be shortened and I’ll need a bustle. I may need it taken in a bit at the waist. I also still need a veil.
