Hey date twin! Well done you, my motivation ran away and I can’t find it again! So bloody hard! Ideally I’d lose about 70lbs, my Weight Watchers target, but like yourself I’d be fairly happy with 30. 29 weeks, so 30 is definitely not unrealistic, if I could move my lazy arse at all!  You counting calories, or exercising, or both? I’ve just started going back to the gym again, can’t seem to get a handle on my eating at all though. Sigh. Every time I talk about this, Fiance says he’s just worried about me sitting up like three weeks before the wedding moaning about how I didn’t make the effort, wedding pics will be horrible etc! Ugh, wish I had some discipline!

Right, pity party over, fresh start once I get my 8 hours… let’s do this!

lol, wow. I feel fat now.

I’m hoping to get to my healthy body weight by the wedding (approx 100 pounds). Not really “for the wedding” but more because I want to be as healthy and fit as possible when TTC, which will be about a year after the wedding. So I’m kind of using the wedding as my motivation.

Diabetes runs in my family and I’m terrified of gaining even MORE weight when pregnant.

@youhavemyheart: Honey do you have 100lbs to lose, or is 100lbs your goal? That’s a tiny goal! Do you mind me asking how tall you are? Cos I’m 5’5, and according to WW my healthy maximum is 148.5, with the minimum being about 128 or so. That’s the healthy parameters, roughly, for me.

@Miss Sparklespaniel: I know i’m replying to a very old message but i’m in the same boat as you – i’d love to lose anywhere from 6kg-10kg before my wedding (which isn’t for 14 months)…this is the weight i’ve gained since meeting my fiance.  Its annoying though, when i met him i was SOOOO unhealthy – drinking heaps, smoking like a chimeny and bingeing on fast food and major carbs when i could remember to eat.  But, i look at pictures of myself from then and i think *sigh*.

Nowadays i rarely drink, i eat healthy and have a healthy lifestyle (most of the time) but i can’t shift the weight.  I guess thats the problem with pushing 30!  THe wedding WILL be the motivation i need – this bee in my bonnet isn’t going anywhere!

Same as. I need to lose 70, but for the wedding… anything, really! Like yourself, I’d love to be at a proper healthy weight  before TTC. And I want to be healthy, full stop. How are you fixed now for motivation? You feelin good, or strugglin? I have to say I’ve been havin a hard time the last while, can’t seem to get a fire lit under me at all.

I am going for body fat% more than weight, but probably about 5 lbs if I consider adding muscle weight. Its the same weight range I have been fluctuating up and down for a few years. In reality though if I were about where I am now, than I would be OK too, just would love to be a touch slimmer.

Now that it’s over…I lost about 5 pounds. Funny things is, it all happened the week before the wedding. It was the stress! I could not for the life of me lose weight before..I guess I was not trying hard enough.

Now, with all the eating I did this week off, I’m sure it’s all come back on. LOL.

I really want to lose 15 pounds by this summer..so hopefully I will be better with that.

I have finally hit my “enough is enough” point and am signing up for weight watchers tomorrow. I have gained about 20 lbs in the last few years (10 of it in the last 1.5 years since I moved in with my FI). I want to lose these 20 lbs by the end of April. That’s about 28 weeks, so I think it’s a very realistic goal ๐Ÿ™‚

Congrats to all the ladies who have lost some weight and good luck to those still batlling.

I have been trying to slim down since before we set our date. Its on 10/14, ten months away but it already feels like its looming over me.  I’ve lost 20lbs so far and I need to lose around 40 more to be in the middle of my healthy range. I’m medium sized frame, and I don’t want to be super thin. I really just want to look and feel my best and be healthy.  My Fiance is so active and loves the outdoors and he does all these things that I can’t do with him. So my ultimate goal is to slim down to a healthier me that can go camping and canoeing and enjoy the great outdoors once again.

It feels like such a huge goal but everyone is such a great inspiration, I just hope that I can make the lifestyle change as well.

35 pounds by 5.27.11 ๐Ÿ™ I know its pretty unrealistic… This has been my goal for a while and I had lost 20 pounds but gained it back again, I have very poor health and I go back and forth a lot. I have an under developed immune system and I just get sick like… constantly, it does not bode well for my workout and diet plan.
