I’m 32 weeks pregnant right now, i’ve currently gained 15 pounds in my pregnancy which is my first.
I’m just wondering in …. lets say 1 month post birth how much weight did you loose?

@MrsHoneyC: I lost 26 lbs, pre pregnancy I was 138 and at the end od my pregnancy I reached 176. The baby weighed 8 lb 12 oz when he was born 🙂

I lost huge amounts of weight post partum which I mainly attribute to breastfeeding. I’m now twelve months post partum and am still less than my pre-pregnancy weight (but starting to gain again).

Gained 21, and was down 25 within the first month.

Gained 33, lost 33 in 4 weeks.
Now at 7 weeks, I am still the same weight, but I started working out last week and I can already see my shape shifting.

I gained 38 pounds, was down 25 at the end of the first month. Now with lots of breastfeeding and exercise, I am still up the 12 pounds 4 months out. I look a lot better though, so there’s that.

Gained 50lbs, was down 15-20lbs within a month. 6 mo out now and still about 20lbs over pre-pregnancy weight.

@MrsHoneyC: I am hoping to have my mom’s luck. She gained 17 and lost 52 with me (I was 7 pounds 13 ounces). Oh this girl can hope 🙂

Well, apparently I’m the only fat ass on the bee 😉
I gained a lot.. Like a LOT. I think 75lbs.. Yes, a lot.
By one month, I was down 30lbs.
My baby will be 8 in February, and im still working on these last 10lbs 😉
Truthfully I lost all the weight I gained from the pregnancy within a year, then stayed there for a while, then gained about 20 slowly over a couple years, then I lost 50 by doing a crazy strict diet. Then I regained 15, and right now I’m about 10lbs above where I want to be. I’m always fluctuating, cant keep my weight to stay the same for the life of me.

Oh man I would love to have that luck! I wasnt where I wanted to be to begin with so if I can gain 30 in pregnancy and lose 50 after baby I will be sooooooooooo happy! lol

I gained about 26 and was within a pound of pre-preg weight at 1 month out. Baby was also 9 lbs 8 oz and i was hugely swollen, so I lost like 20 lbs in the first week with the baby being out and water weight!

About 7 weeks after I lost 22 lbs. Baby is now 2 months and I have an appointment in a few weeks so I’ll see how much more I lost. I gained a lot of weight so I have about 20 more lbs to go. I am on this diet as well due to some colon issues so I am not eating any fried foods, no dairy, nothing with too much fat, no chocolate, etc… so that helps but I will not be in this diet for long hopefully. I credit breastfeeding for the weight loss.

I gained 25 pounds I think, by 1 month PP I was back at my pre preg weight. I think I was there by about 3 weeks. Now at 3 months PP I’m about -4 pounds from my pre preg weight. I found the weight came off quick, now it’s kinda at a stand still. I walk every day but would like to start working out as well. Might as well take advantage of burning those extra calories breastfeeding and working out.

I gained 17lbs and lost it all within a month, then lost 15 more pounds in the next few weeks. I gained the 15 back when I stopped breastfeeding.

I just reached my pre-preg weight and I am 4 months PP. I gained about 30lbs. I lost about 10 lbs with the birth… then it took me 4 months to shed the rest. And im surprised my body looks alot like it did before the baby. Happily surprised!
