I think around 7-8k.  Hopefully less.  We should be booking in Sept.  We’re planning on going to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

We’re planning on doing 3 weeks in Europe…Italy and Greece.  Super excited!  But definitely don’t want to think about how much it’ll cost us…my guess is somewhere around $10k. (We just did 2 weeks in London-Paris-Rome for $6500 so $3500 for an additional week seems reasonable)

Between 10-12k.  We are going on a European cruise.  For us, the honeymoon is about as important as the wedding ๐Ÿ™‚

we’re having our honeymoon in October a whole year later.  It so far has cost us apx. 1500.  Now for spending money and all it will probably be closer to 2,500.  I cannot wait to get away from everything!  I want to lay on that pink beach and go snorkeling and sleep in with no dog barking!  I want to reconnect with my husband.  This year has been a bitch!

Probably about $5-6k.  Almost half of that is just the flights, lol.

We’re spending $15,000 on flights and hotels, but our hotel deal also includes food and drinks for almost the entire time (we selected all inclusive at Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet in St. Lucia for most of the time and then 2 days of non-all inclusive so we can kinda do our own thing) and the deal also includes some excursions too.  So I don’t think we’ll spend a ton of money once we’re actually there….at least I hope not!!  All in all maybe about 17kish…..

@HappyBee33:  We went to Sans Souci for our honeymoon, and it was INCREDIBLE!! Have fun!

It cost us just over $4K for a week, including airfare from the West Coast. We booked on CostcoTravel, so half of our flights were business class, which was AWESOME!

Our budget was $2500-$3000 and we got 6 days/5 nights all inclusive in Cancun at a 5 Golden Apple resort (apple vacations) for $2554. That inclused EVERYTHING. We could bring $10 and not spend another dime.. of course we’ll bring more, but it’s nice to know everything is already taken care of.

We paid $2500 for 6 nights/7 days all-inclusive, adults only, 5 star resort in Punta Cana, DR. We booked last December so we got a great deal through our travel agency. We got a swim-up suite so the pool is literally right outside out door. We’re bringing $1500 in spending money for excursions and shopping. 2 more weeks, can’t wait!!

@Blanche:  Where? How? Amazing!!!

We are going to have two weddings and two honeymoons. Our honeymoons themselves are most likely to be around $1000 each.

We are havign a wedding in the US first (where Fiance is from), then a vow renewal in New Zealand (my home). After each, we will spend a few days on a mini honeymoon. We have agreed to surprise the other one for the honeymoon in our own country, although, depending if I get a good job, or just an average one, we may try and do a Pacific cruise (with my mother! and potentially his parents, too) instead of/ as well as the few days exploring part of New Zealand.

Our wedding budget is 10k, and our honeymoon budget is the same (also 10k). We set that up right from the get-go, knkwing we could afford 20k on this whole affair… and wanting the honeymoon is really important to us both.

We have booked 12 days at an all-inclusive boutique couples resort in Aruba for just under $6k including flights. If we count in my new scuba regulator & PADI course, new wetsuits for us both, the cost of all diving we want to do, plus a few rounds of golf & a rental car to explore a day or two, we should still be be under budget.

Which is good, considering that I our wedding is tracking over by about 2k.

@toasty:

Moorea/Bora Bora was our dream honeymoon as well, but it was going to be twice our wedding budget. Now it’s on our to-do list for a special anniversary.

@crayfish:  That is my dream honeymoon! Unfortunately we don’t have the time or money. Hopefully by the time we retire we will have enough saved to do a trip like yours!

We are at $4000 for our destination elopement/honeymoon. Which will be 17 days split between Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong(Where the wedding will be), Jakarta and Bali. We’re considering Bali our Honeymoon since that is where we will be relaxing before we come home and that’s our all-inclusive part of the trip. So if you break it down technically the honeymoon is $1000 for the flights and the 4 days 3 nights in Bali
