We haven’t discussed a budget, but I’ve been looking up cruises! There’s a port out of New Orleans (we live in Louisiana) and I’ve found some cruises for ~$250/each. Of course that doesn’t include taxes, tips, alcohol, extra spending and whatnot. But we really don’t want to spend a lot!

We spent $10K. We went on an Eastern European cruise with Royal Caribbean for 18 days. We were very fortunate that we could use our wedding gifts to pay for our honeymoon. It was amazing and we probably won’t go on another cruise for many, many years.

I’ve been dying to go to Paris since I was a kid, so since it will be our next trip, we are going to France!

We will go to Paris for a few days then head to Corsica for a week and a half. I imagine we will spend between $8000-10,000, because Europe is pricey. I’m so excited!

We took a minimoon to Bermuda after the wedding and waited 6 months for our actual honeymoon so we could relax and take 2 weeks off- We spent about $14k and we did an 11 day all inclusive cruise to the Cook & Society Islands- we actually just got back about a week and a half ago. It was amazing!

I used my Virgin America points for our flights from NY to LA and then the flights from LA to Tahiti were included in the package from the cruise. Getting off the islands and walking around and the one day we spent in Tahiti, I am sooooo glad we did a cruise- staying on the actual islands would have been boring and wayyyyy too expensive. We really got to see and experience a lot and it was worth every penny.

We have a strict budget of $2400 and are hoping to book an all inclusive resort + flights with that.
