I took 3 days off before the wedding, mostly because it was out of town and we had to drive 3 hours up to the venue. If it was local we probably would have just taken 1 day off.

Darling Husband and I took off the day before the wedding for rehearsal and the wedding day (because it was on a Friday).

I think taking off a few more days before wouldn’t be a bad thing. Nor a few days after. Work was surprised that I didn’t take more days 🙂

I didn’t take any time here and there but took a full week off beforehand to do last minute stuff and visit with guests who came into town early.

Our wedding (and most of our events-shower, bachelorette) have been in a different city than where we live. So I’ve taken: 1 day for my shower, 2 for my bachelorette, and am taking a week off beofre the wedding.

I’m taking the entire week before our wedding off, and have taken several days and half-days here and there. Since our wedding is Labor Day weekend, I have a free extra day built in the week after, too!

I took 5 days total (not including the HM) but only 3 of them were right before our wedding. One day was taken off a few weeks prior to do a walkthrough of the venue during the day and another was taken off the week before to try to get some extra crap accomplished.

I took 3 days off the week of the wedding. Wednesday to hang at the beach with my Mom, Thursday to hang out and get my nails, toes done, and Friday to travel to the location and do last minute stuff before the rehearsal and dinner that night.

I think I’ll be away from work fooorrrr…hmm…8 days? I didn’t really need that much time off but I have like 50 days of leave saved. Yeah. This chick needs to take more vacations. 🙂

Everyday I feel like taking off a few hours to get in some extra DIY time, but I fight the urge. We have to drive 4 hours to our site, so we are leaving the wednesday before.

I took five weeks off for our wedding and honeymoon and I don’t even vaguely regret it. It was WONDERFUL!

I’m taking off the week before and the week after. Then a week and a half for our honeymoon in January!
