@ysl1983: I hate to say it but I don’t think most wedding dresses move very quickly (and you have to be prepared to have the dress for a while).

The only way to ensure a quick sale would be a very good price that can’t be found elsewhere (I’m not sure which dress you have or what it retails for). Other than that I’d suggest posting in the classifieds section on here and on other wedding sites.

The other thing that buyers want to see are actual GOOD-QUALITY pictures of the dress rather than just the stock photo, you can include that as well but seeing actual pictures ensures buyers that they’re getting what they expect. Plus sooo many people post crappy photos with bad lighting and buyers can’t see any of the details.

I would price it at 2/3 the regular retail price at most.  I looked at dresses on those sites, and there would be some I liked, but were only $100 or so less than regular retail. For such a small difference, I would rather pay more and get a dress that I know has never been worn, is in perfect condition, etc. It would have to be a significant discount for me to buy it used.

I sold my brand new dress for almost 50% off after a few months with nothing but scammers emailing me I just wanted it gone
