Honestly I think brides should stick to 50% of their purchase price when trying to sell a used sample dress.  Not only has this dress been tried on a lot in shop, it’s also been worn, danced in and dragged around by an actual bride.  So I’m going to say $350.

Do you have a pictue of you in it with the alterations done. For me, the new look of the dress without the extra tulle would make a big difference in the price.

If you start on the higher end, and it doesn’t sell for a while, you could always lower it until you find a buyer!  No harm done!

Also…you bought it at $700 sample…what is the original price?  I think $500 sounds like a good price to start at.  If you throw in a veil or headpiece or another accessory that you’re not wearing with it, then you could maybe start at $600.

Once it’s been worn, the price should be at least half.  Since you removed tulle and shortened the strap, you really can’t ask more than that.  If there is any significant damage–ANY kind of stain, dirt, etc. the price goes down from there.

woah the original price is insane (for my budget at least) but considering you had to pay significantly less I would start out a little under what you paid and just lower it as needed. good luck
