I’m not sure if there is a set schedule but I’m sure something is in the works for the next generation!  It takes the artist a while to create the new designs so they have to be decided some time out from when they are released.

There isn’t a set schedule, as far as I know.  As MissAsB said, it depends on the artist who is commissioned for every generation, as well as how many monikers are still available.  When a blogger is accepted, they are able to choose from any of the available monikers still available, even if it’s from an old generation, i.e. Miss Dalmation was still accepted, and most of the other puppies were married in 2010 or earlier.

I was wondering this too – there are very few left to choose from in the woodland generation! There have been lots of new bees lately. 🙂

I can’t believe nobody has picked Miss Bracelet yet. <– that was one I was very, very tempted to choose when I was deciding WHO I should be. (The cute tree Jaguar won, of course.)

Last time I checked, there was 1 accessory (bracelet), 1 brunch item (scone), 1 tea party (gloves), and 6 woodland creatures.

You can see the list here: http://wiki.weddingbee.com/Weddingbee

Anything without a link is open…except Mink, of course. Wink

I don’t believe there is a set schedule but looking back at when the last couple of generations were announced…

Patterns & Crafts – Nov/30/2010

Sea Creatures  – Feb/24/2010

Accessories – May/25/2010

Safari – Aug/13/2010

Brunch – Nov/2/2010

Carnival – Feb/ 10/2011

Tea Party – May/20/2011

Woodland Creatures – Aug/24/2011

… I would say we will be seeing a new generation pretty soon!

@MsFrancez: Oh wow it seems even though there isn’t a “set” schedule they seem to come out every 3 months or so! I’m so excited to see the new generation 🙂 Should be here soon!

I love when they come out with new generations. I also love to hear what people’s creative ideas for a new generation are. I think it would be fun to see a generation of maybe stone cuts such as Miss cushion, princess, round, heart etc. Or maybe a generation of mythical creatures such as phoenix, dragon, etc.

Oh they should have a generation where the bees get to make up their own character and then have it drawn 🙂
