I love you?
This is a spinoff, I saw a post about a bee who’s SO hasn’t said I love after 7 months and in the comments I saw that a lot of bees and their SO don’t say “I love you” much and one bee said her Fiance won’t say it until the day of their wedding. Which just shocks me! lol Fiance and I are constantly telling each other how much we love each other. I don’t think we’ve ever said it less than 4 times a day in the last 2 years, it’s just normal for us. I would be really concerned if he didn’t say it every day and I’m sure he feels the same way about me.
Now I’m not saying in any way that not saying “I love you” every day is bad, it just is odd to me because Fiance and I say it so often. so I’m curious how often do you say it? Do you need to hear it or are you just fine not hearing it?

Several times a day, and it’s special every time!

Everyday. In words and in actions. And in silly faces we make at each other. 😛

@Regina Phalange: So true, my friends think it is weird that we say it so much and that they have jsut become words to us but I smile everytime I hear it or see it in text. It just reminds me how lucky I am 🙂

Yeah, Fiance and I say it… quite a few times a day.
I also think on my end it was definitely a family cultural thing. My brother used to complain all the time that my mom said “I love you” to us too much haha.
I think my Fiance was sort of weirded out by it early in our relationship (not that we said it at all- he actually said it first) but that I would say it so often/habitually, like my mom. But now he does it, too haha.

Definitely a lot. I’ve never paid attention to how many times it’s actually said but it’s everytime we part ways in the morning when he goes to work, before we go to sleep, if we talk on the phone (before we hang up) and whenever one of us says something silly or when one of us is sad.
I don’t need to hear it… it’s just nice to. It’s always been this way and I hope it always will be.

we say it when he leaves for work in the morning and before we go to bed and a few times in between 🙂

We say it multiple times a day and I get warm fuzzies every time

We say it every day, more than oce or twice or three times. When we go to bed for sure and then we always text each other if we are away from each other, it’s just normal for us, when I feel it, I just say it or text him.

Constantly. Haha. Random moments of the day, when we’re leaving, before bed, ect.

I’d say once every 2-3 days (that wasn’t an option in the poll) but he’s more of an “action man” and he shows it at least… 10 times a day in all sorts of little ways… so I’m happy.

Several times a day!
Although each time is special, I have to admit that it tugs at my heart just that tiny bit more when he says it after I’ve said or done something silly, quirky, or funny. It’s like he’s telling me in that one sentence that he loves every bit of me, even the ridiculous parts.

also several times a day 🙂

We say it all the time, when one of us is going out, or on the phone, or just before going to sleep. I don’t believe it loses meaning at all.
Now that I think of it, I always tell my parents, too. And Fiance used to always tell his mum. It’s just how we are, I think.
I have a friend who had a screaming match with her mum, and screamed in her face that she hated her. That was the last thing she ever said to her mum before she died, and she regrets it every day.
