I’m on my 2nd round of Clomid and I finally ovulated!! I’m so excited because I feel like I finally have a real chance this month, I have PCOS and this is the 1st time in about 6 months I have ovulated. So my question, how often do you BD around ovulation? Is there such a thing as to much? Darling Husband has had a sperm test and all is good with him.

Every day or every other day is plenty. Multiple times a day isn’t necessary – and will wear you out and possibly make BD not fun anymore 🙁

My OBGYN said no more than every other day or else it depletes his semen reserve. I’m sure every day would be fine. But definitely not multiple times per day!

I got pregnant with O-4, O-2, O-1 and O. I dont think BD multiple times a day is necessary just try to get the few days before O and continue BD until O confirmed.

We did a mix of every day and every other day leading up to and around ovulation. Just based on our energy levels. Best of luck to you!

Woohoo for O! How were the clomid side effects? We try to hit at least EOD, I’d think ED/EOD is fine. Multiple times a day is not necessary, and I think there is research that it may actually hurt your chances.
We got pregnant with our first daughter with intercourse on O-3, O-1, and O+1. We haven’t had much success with EOD trying to conceive our second (we’re on cycle 9), so this cycle we did O-5, O-4, O-2, O-1, O, and O+1. It was exhausting, hopefully it will result in a baby.

Thanks all! Right now we have been BDing eod, I figured multiple times a day would be over kill lol but I just wanted all the options, I don’t think we could do it that much… We’re not 21 anymore lol I’m just reallllllly anxious for this time to get a BFP so I was wondering what u ladies did 🙂
GingerBaby: the 1st time around on the 50mg I had no side affect, this time one the 100mg I was grumpier than normal for the 5 days I was on the pill but that was the only affect

pandabear33: The first month we conceived (miscarried at 6.5 weeks) I think we did every day from O-2 through O. May have hit O+1 too that cycle. The cycle we conceived this baby we did the same or close to, I think O-3 through O, but were too exhausted to hit O+1. Sex for conception can be exhausting!

Everyday plus the day after ovulation just to make sure 🙂 if you have the time/ energy, if not EOD should be fine as well!
