How often do you find your self bored with your hairstyle and go for a color or a new hair look? Are you one of those who enjoy playing around with their hair style or one of those who only do it when they feel it’s essential or they need a ppshycological boost?

Pretty much never. I don’t color, blow dry, style, etc my hair; in fact, I don’t even own a hair brush. Plus I hate the smell of a salon and I don’t like people touching my head.

I never change the style. I love my long hair and won’t cut it short. I do get layers put in but that’s normal for me. I do tend to change my hair color every now and then. When I was in high school I dyed it platinum blonde and then dark brown. Then I slowly highlighted it back to blonde (I’m a natural blonde). Then I just maintained the highlights throughout college. This winter I wanted a change but again didn’t want to cut my hair. So I went red. I really loved it but red is so hard to maintain because it fades so fast. Now I’m back to highlighting it blonde. I always go back to blonde lol

- Wedding: December 2014 - Norton Country Club
During wedding prep- not at all. I’m trying to reverse some of the damage I’ve done in the past. I’m keeping it one, gentle formula color and letting it grow as long as possible until December.
Before the planning? Every few months… About two years ago, I had bobbed bleach blond hair. Then I let it grow out and moved into a champagne blonde, but I went with an assymetrical bob (longer in the front). When I met Fiance about 1.5 years ago, I had just decided to go back to brunette but wasn’t ready to do it all at once. I did the “ombre” effect with the top third of my hair in a chocolatey brunette, the next section faded into a light brunette, and the bottom was the remainder of my champagne blonde. Once that started to get old (to me… really, 6 weeks), I dyed the entire lot of it in the chocolate color and did a red glaze. Fiance introduced me to his best friend’s wife who is my favorite hairdresser of all time… she convinced me to grow it a little longer and soften up the color with a blend of copper, chocolate, and a little red.
Oh and college was fun… I went through the whole range- super bleach blonde, jet black, Ariel the Little Mermaid red, blue tips, pink highlights… yeah, I’m itching to do something new again!

I am not afraid to change hairstyles whatsoever! I’m used to getting at least 4 to 5 haircuts a year just to change things up when i get bored or if I see a style I would really like to try! It’s been 2 years though since I’ve had a haircut since I’ve been trying to grow out my hair for my wedding but as soon as the wedding is over, I’m chopping it off!!!!!!
I can’t dye my hair anymore though which sucks. I just started getting allergic reactions the last few times so I’ll just compensate with having cute hairstyles instead.

Jennybee224: in high school it was every month!! i would dye it or cut it and it got shorter and shorter. then when i got to college i decided to grow it out. i would dye it here and there. which turned into every 6 months. i would dye it brown or dark brown. trying to get my natural color. then i would get bored and put streaks in it. but for the last year i have kept it natural and started growing out my hair color. People seem to like me best with my natural hair. With my long hair i feel like i can do so much more anyways. I like to keep it natural down and curly. dont do a single thing most days. others ill straighten it, put it in braids, headband it up or scarfs. i get the urge to cut it here and there but i never got so many compliments like i do with my hair like this.

Not much. Same color, same overall style. I usually just change length and bangs. I had been cycling from just below shoulders to bra strap length for years. Recently, I had let it grow to my waist, though I cut off a few inches about six weeks ago.
