Does rubbing it on my shirt/a towel count? if not, never.
Does rubbing it on my shirt/a towel count? if not, never.
I soak mine in jewlery cleaner and scrub it lightly with a soft bristle toothbrush once a week or right before an event. Professionally cleaned twice a year.
I’m crazy 🤪 I clean my ring 3-4 time a day ðŸ¤, in the morning I clean it with a soft toothbrush and dish soap and rinse it in warm water and I do it again in the shower but with shampoo and every time i is the toilet….I have a radiant cut center diamond and a stap cut sides if it is not clean it looks horrible 😌 and I love the sparkle ðŸ¤ðŸ¤—
Once a week with soap and with silver polish every 6 months because moissy stains
I clean mine every morning. It takes me literally less than 10 seconds & I just use a toothbrush and mild hand soap.
Amazed how many bees clean theirs every day!
I’m in the ‘never’ camp :-S
I get mine professionally cleaned and prongs checked every 6 months. I don’t really clean it myself at all in between.
Not as much as I should! Maybe once a month I soak it in water with dish soap, but otherwise it gets cleaned when I wash my hands or wipe it with my shirt. Does that count?
I work in the automotive industry so mine gets dirty all the time… I usually get it steam cleaned at the jeweler once every two weeks when I’m in the area, which only takes like 2 minutes but makes a world of a difference
I clean mine once or twice a week with the diamond dazzle stik from Amazon.
I get mine cleaned professionally and inspected every 6 months, but that is a condition of the lifetime warranty on the setting and diamonds that my DH purchased with the set. If I do not have it inspected and cleaned at Jared every 6 months, my warranty becomes void.
Now, if I visit the jewelry store for any reason they usually offer a comp cleaning, and I always do that but this homegirl makes no special trips for that.
That said I clean it daily and when I go out and want it super sparkly and shiny I have to reaclean it sometimes. I frequently leave huge fingerprints on it.
I read some here use shampoo… and I read that ahampoo these days leaves residue on everything. It’s ment to do so to keep the hair protected. And that suppposes to make diamonds un-sparkly. is that true? I never paid attention because cleaning the ring is the last thing I do before leaving the bathroom…
I wipe off little bits of dirt and oil from my hands with the hem of my shirts regularly, but I use the Connoisseurs Precious Jewelry Cleaner my future mother-in-law gave me about once a month. It comes with a dip tray for soaking and a little brush. Really brings back high gleam.
