I wash dishes and pick up clutter every day, vaccum and do laundry on the weekend and “deep clean” about every other weekend

It’s just me at home and everything gets cleaned (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, etc) at least once a week, but not necessarily all on the same day.  And I tidy up as needed: I wash dishes at least once a day and the kitchen counters and floor as needed after cooking.

I don’t mind most cleaning, but for some reason, I just hate cleaning the shower/bathtub.  I don’t know why…I wish I could hire a cleaning lady just for that alone.

Everyday, nothing is usually out of place by the end of the night. Ktichen gets picked up and counters wiped down nightly.  Vaccuming maybe 2x a week, dishes every night, clean downstairs every night, make bed everyday, and hardcore bleach clean bathrooms and kitchen 1x a week. dusting weekly, laundry biweekly.

Everyday: dishes, picking up items/putting them away

Weekly: vacuum, clean entire house, laundry, change sheets/towels

Twice a year: go through closets and drawers and donate/toss unused/old items

I hate clutter, which is why I go through the house twice a year and get rid of things we do not use. I clean the house each Friday. If I go two weeks without (due to being sick or out of town), it is out of control!

I said a few times a week, but I only really clean a couple times a week (like cleaning appliances and dusting), but I swiffer/vacuum every other day… With a sheddy dog and two long haired cats it’s imperative.

I do a full top-to-bottom cleaning of the house probably about every two weeks, and definitely always before my husband comes home from a deployment. My husband works hard and deserves a clean house to come home to!

My husband generally does not help. He works long hours and is gone on deployment a lot, so all the cleaning is 100% on me. I don’t mind, our house doesn’t get too dirty with just two people and two pets living in it.

There needs to be a poll option for “not enough” lol

We are getting better. I’m making more of an effort to pick up things as I go instead of waiting for the house to become a big pile… Dishes seem to be our main sticking point. Fiance refuses to get a dishwasher because he says they’re for lazy people. I said I’d rather be lazy and clean with a dishwasher than lazy and dirty without one…

My problem is that we live in a run down, falling apart around us rental, and we can’t afford to move for another 6 months. I feel like no matter how much I clean, it’s never going to be a showhome. As my mum said once, “you can’t make a trifle out of cow sh*t”.

Ummm we never ever clean it from top-to-bottom except when we move in.

We clean here-and-there several times a day.

My Fiance does more cleaning than I do. I help him. He’s very neat. :))

I clean about once a week, with little cleans in between. I didn’t tick a box regarding partner for two reasons. Firstly, we currently live in different continents. Secondly, when we did live in the same country he didn’t help, he pulled his weighty as a capable adult. Helping implies he is somehow relieving me of some of my wifely duties, rather than taking responsibility as a fellow adult.

We clean up as we go (dishes, laundry, countertops) every day. We do vacuuming and bathrooms once a week every Sunday and a deep scrub every 3-4 weeks, usually right before we have company over.

Like another said, not enough.  I am slacker compared to most of you.  Unfortunately, my husband hates cleaning and doesn’t pitch in much.

Almost every day: Pick up daily mess

2-3 times/week: take trash, husband cleans cat litter (his cat, pre-me), dishes, wash counters, sweep floors

1/week: vacuum small rug, bathroom countertops, laundry

1/month: bathroom (no schedule though, just when it needs it)

    Irregularly: Dust

I wish we did dishes every day like my mom, but honestly I’m tired after cooking meals and don’t always want to do the dishes too.

I clean a few times a week — the kitchen gets cleaned on a daily basis.  I don’t vacumm ALL the time but usually at least once a week.
