I’m doing insanity right now. After that I plan on signing up at our local gym to do classes. I guess I exercise and average of 6 hours a week. I typically do some extra weight lifting after the Insanity video.

@lealorali:  I used to work out 1.5 hours about 5 days a week, but the routine was beginning to drag me down.  I joined a crossfit gym a month and a half ago and I try and go to 4 or 5 classes a week depending on my schedule.  The workouts are usually 30 minutes or less.  I work out fewers hours now than I used to, but I’m getting in a MUCH better workout.  I am loosing some weight (I also maintain a healthy diet) and gaining some lean muscle.

I don’t know that how many hours you work out is really what’s important versus what kind of workouts you do and how often you do them!

I always plan on exercising 3 hours a week but I usually end up only exercising for 1.5 hours!  My favorite work out is Zumba and this new zumba-like class I just discovered called Kazaxe. If any of you bees are in the DC area, you have to check it out!  Second to that is body pump class.

I try to do 1.5 hours a day, so ideally ~10.5 a week. I like exercising, but I get bored of doing the same things over and over so sometimes I’ll take a day off here and there. Lately I’ve only been doing around 6 hours a week.

I do a lot of exercises with weights, parts of p90x, some random videos I’ve found online, and boxing with a punching bag.

I commute to work on foot about 2 miles a way. Many days Fiance gives me a ride one way, but some days I walk both ways. I’m working on exercising more too, Fiance is going to teach me so free weight exercises. Once the tendon I screwed up in my foot heals I’m going to start walking on the treadmill again.

Before I moved, I worked at a gym teaching group fitness. I worked out a minimum of 3 hours a week teaching class, but I also went to classes like Zumba, subbed for other classes, and ran. I was probably getting in 10-15 hours a week. Then I moved, couldn’t afford to join a gym, and slowly lost my ability to exercise due to pregnancy. I’m not 4 months postpartum, and it’s a struggle to get out to walk a few times a week. I did run 3 days ago though… 1.6 miles walk/run in 24 minutes… kind of sad, but at least I did it. A fourth half marathon seems far away.

I’m disappointed in myself right now for not having lost some of the baby weight. I just joined Weight Watchers. I need something to hold me accountable for how much I’m eating.

I work out 6 days a week about an hour and a half each day and some weekends like this weekend 7 days bc it was so so nice out I just HAD to go for a run with dh.

Here’s the thing, I actually do enjoy working out. It’s my ME time and I feel terrible if I dont get it in. I think its about finding what you like to do so working out doesnt become a chore.

I mix things up a little so Im not bored, but I really enjoy P90X. Ive doen Insanity too but I definitely wasnt enjoying my workouts as much. I also like to run outside when the weathers nice and anything involving weight lifting gets me excited to work ou!

I spend 1-2 hours a day walking our dog, and go one 2-3 hour hikes with steep climbs 2-3 times a week. Does that count? I’m not a huge fan of running or gyms.

For 3 days a week, I work out for two hours. Then another 3 days, I workout for an hour. In total I spend about 9 hours a week at the gym. I love working out, it makes me feel great and gives me some time to unwind.

I lift weights for about 45 min to an hour tops and do 20 min of cardio immediately after. I do that 5 days a week

@lealorali:  My fiancé and I have been doing a walk/run regimen. We do it about 5 days a week. I’ve been having some hip and knee pain so i like giving myself two days off.
