1-2 times a year. My hair is straight with no colour. I only wash/blowdry once a week with no other heat used so it’s pretty healthy.

When my hairdresser says it is time, every four months or so.

OMG you guys are insane. I get it cut every 6 weeks without fail. If something comes up and I have to wait 7 or 8 weeks I go insane and I look like a slob! My hair grows incredibly fast and is extremely thick

I have long-ish hair (couple inches below shoulder length). I get it cut every year or two. I haven’t been in about 2 years right now and it’s pretty gross… but stylists always get really overenthusiastic with the scissors 🙁 I heat style a couple times a month and I do color it, so I should probably go more often but I just can’t deal with the several inches I lose each time.

Once a year, usually. My hair is very thick and curly and grows down extremely slowly (out is another matter, sadly). If it’s a super hot summer or I have a holiday in a hot country coming up, then twice a year.

I get mine cut every 3-ish months — my ends start looking ratty otherwise.

Every 2-3 years or so…oops! My hair grows really quickly but also falls out a lot (autoimmune disease) and it’s curly so I never brush it/use heat on it. If I see split ends I will trim them myself but the cycle goes so quickly that my hair is typically pretty healthy.

I always cut it myself when it gets cut, usually to collarbone length after it’s grown to an inch above my pant line.

I go to the hairdresser every 6-8 weeks to get my colour done. I’d say I get my hair trimmed every second session, so 12-16 weeks or maybe 4x a year?
I have long, thick, wavy hair and I heat style it daily, so the ends get pretty rank if I don’t trim them regularly.

I have a pixie. Every 5 weeks. That last week I feel pretty scruffy too.
