    Every few months

    Twice a year

    Once a year

    For special occasions only

I wish I had time for that!

At the jeweler? Only if I am getting repairs/prongs checked etc.

I clean the rings I am wearing myself at home every 1-2 days.

Not only so it looks better (as clean rings tend to do), but I don’t want to even think about what could be lurking on my rings if I did not clean them regularly.

I’ve had it cleaned twice in the year we’ve been engaged, and I’ll have it done before the wedding next month. But I also have a cleaning jar and do it probably 2x week. It’s not quite as good as having it done but it makes a difference. 🙂

I honestly get my ring cleaned pretty often. I would say about once a month. But I live close to the jeweler and I usually do it when I’m passing by and have a few extra minutes (and when I don’t have my DD) with me. I hate taking her out of her car seat for 2 minutes. Hah

I clean mine in a cheapy ultrasonic cleaner I got off Amazon each morning while I shower, so it stays really clean. I’ll get an in-store cleaning once every 3 months or so but it’s more for them to check on the setting/prongs. I bang my ring around a ton so I like being sure I’m not causing any damage.

Enjoy your clean and sparkly sparkly!

I use to get it cleaned every other week 🙊. My jeweler was a 10 minute walk from the company I interned with over the summer. I would pop in during my lunch break for a cleaning. I would get it cleaned once a week if I could.

stephyhansen :  Usually I just soak in warm water and Dawn, scrub with a baby toothbrush (soft bristles) and rinse. Other times I use a little isopropyl alcohol (99%) as it is great for removing oil and such from diamonds but I am not sure the it would be great for plated white gold?  Once a month or so I put any non-pave items and more durable stones in in an ultrasonic (we have a small industrial one we use for our business, so I just use it sometimes when I am there)

I haven’t had my ring for long, but I’ve gotten it cleaned every few months and plan to continue that. Our jeweler is just 25 minutes from our home, and it’s near many other stores we frequent, so it’s easy to pop in.

Does anyone have any recommendations for ultrasonic cleaners for home? My setting (Tacori) can get dirty REALLY easily because there are tons of little crevaces, and I’d love to be able to clean it well at home.

I’m addicted to the diamond dazzle stick.  I order 6packs off Amazon for about 27 bucks and keep them everywhere.  I clean my rings everyday.   I’m a nerd.

farmfreshjoy :  I have this one, but my ring is just a solitaire on a plain band so I don’t have to worry about delicate pave: https://www.amazon.com/Magnasonic-Professional-Ultrasonic-Cleaning-Eyeglasses/dp/B00HZVYAVM/

If your Tacori has lots of pave, I’d just stick with a Diamond Dazzle Stik! I love those things and use it when I travel: https://www.amazon.com/Connoisseurs-1050-Diamond-Dazzle-Stik/dp/B00459VM6I
