I haven’t had a girls night in forever. Like 9 months? I get invited but now I’m pregnant and it mostly involves late nights out and drinking. I do go to breakfast/brunch with girlfriends about once a month. I don’t spend weekends a way but I will spend a day out shopping with my sister or friends, but I don’t think I’ve spent a night away where work wasn’t involved (Out of town for work, whether him or me)

I have pretty regular girls nights (or time away from my fiancé). Window shopping trips, happy hours (although he usually comes with me), brunch/lunch/drinks, nights in, manicure nights, wedding venting nights, whatever! At minimum, once every 2 weeks, often times more. I’m actually having a “sweats and sweets” night tomorrow with one of my bridesmaids. We put on sweat pants, open bottles of wine and bake/eat all kinds of delicious things 🙂 and I’m having drinks with a few girlfriends Sunday night.

All the while, the Fiance is off hanging with his boys, working on his cars, at the range, whatever!

I’m still on a LDR with my Fiance, so technically I have more time away than with him. BUT, with that said. I have different needs. I plan on having “me” time at least once a week. I don’t particularly enjoy going out, and I don’t have female friends. For me, once a week of a couple of hours to myself (reading, gaming, shopping) is more than enough to recharge my time away from the Fiance. We’re both gamers, so we can relax playing together and still feel like we’re doing our own thing.

Like right now, I’m staying over. Kiddo is in the Wii U at her room, he’s laying down beside me playing his PS4 and I’m on the PC enjoying weddingbee because we’re recently engaged and I’m all excited xD And for me right now, this is “me” time, even though he’s right there lol

gtijenn:  Yeah it definitely works for us. I’ve been married before, to a jerk who didn’t understand I needed breaks. He would scream at me when he got home if he caught me watching a movie and not be done with the laundry (for example), for this relationship it’s like I hit the jackpot. We’re super alike in those sense. As long as he gets at least a day or two to play HIS things (since we’re both gamers we play a lot of things together), he feels those are “his” days. And with me, it’s the same thing, but I get cabin fever (unlike my Fiance lol), so I also would take a day to shop for make up or shoes while he cares for the kiddo. Him? He can be in a house without windows or doors and as long as he has a ps4, he’s fine lol Yesterday was his 33rd bday and he is fine just playing XD But thankfully we aren’t addicted, we do our adulting stuff (work and such), but since we’re both gamers, instead of romantic dinners, or sitting down and talking, we game lol

My husband and I have two kids and a couple years ago we came up with an idea that has really worked for us. We each get a night off every week to do whatever we want. He often goes to the movies with one of his buddies, and I go to dinner with some of my girlfriends or just grab Starbucks and walk each and every aisle of Target. We NEED the break from everything and we are both so much can happier that we have put this in place.

My girls and I all have crazy schedules and unfortunately tend to only get together once every few weeks, sometimes it’ss more like once every few months. We go out shopping or dancing, and have nights in sometimes, but haven’t done any nights away or weekend trips, although we’ve been talking about taking a vacation together someday.

I usually do 2-3x a month, single night only. Any combinations of food/movie/booze/painting/talking and crashing on her couch since she’s still single.

I see my girlfriends 1-2 times per week but in short bursts – brunch, watching the bachelorette, happy hour, dinner. These things typically happen during the week. I usually spend Friday and Saturday with Darling Husband. I spend maybe one Friday or Saturday night per month with my friends w/o Darling Husband. His guy nights are way less frequent because his friends live in different parts of the country.

pretty much all of my girls are in a relationship if not also married so we usually only have girls night in (wine/yoga pants/talking trash about the guys type thing) but we do get together like once a week or so

a few of us have SO that work late so we will just all meet up at my place and get a pizza or whatever… nothing really planned or a big deal but just better than sitting home alone

If I’m lucky maybe once a month or every two months. I have a 2 year old and I am pregnant and now most of my friends have kids as well. Plus, I live an hour away from most of my good friends. So it makes getting together a little more tricky. Just a single night.  Although me and another have dreams of taking a getaway to an all-inclusive in Mexico in a few years lol.  My Darling Husband usually goes out once a week (sometimes twice a week) or every other week.  Usually not to see friends, but he has his hobbies.  I don’t mind him going more than me because he usually makes money with his.

I’d say like once every 3 weeks maybe? Usually I hang with my girls more than that but it’s with guys too. My hubby plays a lot of video games which I consider to be the same thing since he plays online with friends, so he has more guys nights than I do girls nights. We never have spent a night apart tho like sleeping somewhere else, but spending an entire day apart is usually just a once in a while thing.
