Everyday here. I have thick very fine stick straight hair (my hair dressers are always shocked at how much hair I have, it doesn’t look like much). If I go a day without washing it looks like a grease bomb went off.

I currently wash my hair every night before bed but I use to be an every other day girl. I really need to get back to that.

FTR for people who are curious about us not washing every day – I *condition* every day (and of course, shower! haha) but just skip the shampoo step most days.

In my younger days, I had to wash it every morning. I could now get by with every other day now, but I swim in the mornings so I have to wash the salt water out of my hair.
My stylist said to put a gloppy conditioner on before I swim to help keep the salt out & always wash, just not rinse after a swim.

I usually wash twice a week, sometimes three times. The grease starts getting bad on day four usually but on occasion day three is bad too.

Ladies, my hair is greasy too…but i tell you when you use WEN Fig and Pomegrante!!! Awesome. My hair has never felt lighter and fluffier! Now, I just need to work on the dry scalp problem…Tea tree doesn’t work, nothing has.

i wash my hair about every other day, sometimes everyday if i work out hard and am all sweaty 🙂 i put my hair in a shower cap when i di skip washing. i have short hair so i have to wear it down no matter what so sometimes washing everyday has to happen, although i do notice how much better my hair behaves when i only wash every other day 🙂

I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. Any more than 3 times per week and it gets REALLY dry. Also, I only shampoo my roots, and I only condition my ends, in order to keep my roots non-greasy and my ends non-dry. (I use the rinse & repeat method for shampooing, sometimes lathering up three times if it’s been 4+ days; as for conditioning, I slap a whole lot of conditioner on my ends, wash up everything else & then rinse it out, and then put in a leave-in conditioner after I’ve towel-dried my hair (still wet at this point). Then I either let it air dry or I blow dry it (the leave-in conditioner absorbs better with blow drying, but a lot of the time I’m too lazy! : D).
The shampoo-half & condition-half routine seems to combat the greasy-roots/dry-ends problem I have pretty well. : ) The only problem is remembering not to shampoo my ends when I’m really tired! Hah!

I have very fine hair, and try to wash it at least every other day. If I go longer than that, it starts to get a bit matted and greasy. Sometimes I just wet my hair in the shower (without washing it) and that does the trick. If I wash every day, it gets limp and doesn’t do anything.

I wash my hair every day. It is so thick and gets greasy if I don’t. Also, I’m so scared people will be able to smell my oily head haha, so I try to keep it clean.

Fairly tight curls. I still need to put product in my hair to get it to curl and not floof (very technical word, I know.)
@CorgiTales: I wet it in the shower every day. I only wear a shower cap if I’m having really good hair or I’ve spent an hour and a half straightening it and I want it to stay straight!

What they say about washing your hair too often actually causing more greasies is so true! I have nearly waist-length baby fine hair and a lot of it, so it falls flat and looks awful if it gets greasy at all. I thought I should shampoo every day, but to my horror my scalp began producing so much oil that my hair was getting flat and greasy just halfway throught the day.
I tried and failed to cut back on shampooing until I discovered dry shampoo. Then it was much easier to stretch one wash into two or three days. By day three it usually has to go in a ponytail. I do find that my hair is much healthier and has way more body than before.
I never wet my hair in the shower unless I’m going to shampoo it. For some reason, just wetting my hair seems to make all of it oily and limp, even if I blowdry and style it.

Every day – or else my hair would get really greasy!

Every 2 or 3 days, just depends on our greasy it gets. I always have to pull it back after the first day, though.

I have pretty thin hair but it’s naturally wavy. I used to wash it everyday; now I wash it every other day, and it’s much healthier. I really can’t go longer than that though, without it feeling gross.
