I take mine off to shower, lotion, sleep, work out, clean with chemicals, and do the dishes. When I had my moissanite set, I wore it all. the. time. Now that I have more expensive diamonds, I’m kind of paranoid! My diamond is only half a carat so it’s not going to get knocked loose very easily I don’t think, but I do have a shared prong setting along the bands. Honestly I hate taking it off so often. I’m clumsy and I dropped it the other day when taking it off! I’ve also dropped my pearl earring and had to superglue it back to the post! So part of me thinks it would be safer to just leave it on!

I take mine off just as much as you do except for dishes. We didn’t have a dishwasher until a couple months ago so everything was hand washed with my rings on for years (we got engaged in 2012 and married 2014) . I also take them off when hand mixing any food, meat or otherwise, just because ew.

I rarely remove my diamond e-ring. I take it off to shower, put on lotion, messy cooking … but other than that, it’s glued to my hand!

I take mine off as soon as I get home and put them on when I’m leaving again. I just can’t stand having any jewelry on when I’m home so it all comes off… literally it’s the first thing I do

I wore mine 24/7 until it became loose in its setting. I had it tightened and then took to taking it off when I get home each day and putting it on as I leave the house. It is such a habit now that I never forget, and it always goes in the same place when I take it off. The only exception is when we travel; I don’t remove it when we’re away from home because it is safer on my finger than potentially leaving it on a night stand or countertop in a place where our routine is different.

Glad I’m not the only one! It’s so weird — as soon as I walk out the door, if I’ve forgotten to put my rings on, my finger feels “naked” and I feel weird and instantly know. On the flip side, if I forget to take them off when I’m home, I become weirdly hyper-aware of them on my finger and it feels weird 😂

I don’t wear it when I’m at home…which is most of the time nowadays. But I always wear it when I leave the house.

I take mine off if I’m doing anything rough with my hands like putting together furniture or lifting heavy things where I might have to grip hard. I also take it off for working out and running, and for cleaning with chemicals or doing messy cooking (if I don’t use disposable gloves). I take it off to shower, and that’s when I put it in the ultrasonic machine. It comes out sparkly clean and I put it back on after I’m done applying hair products. I don’t take it off to sleep or to do most other things.

Multiple times a day. I try to take the ring off before doing any cooking, cleaning, or some other manual activity. I wash my hands a lot and use hand cream after each wash, so I try to take it off while I’m putting lotion on until it’s mostly absorbed.
Most of the time, our exercise is an outdoor/nature walk. If I’m doing something more vigorous like an extended hike or going to the gym, I’ll take it off.
I currently wear my ring to bed because it’s a very low profile bezel rose quartz ring, but once I have my diamond e-ring I’ll be taking it off before bed because I often sleep with one hand under my pillow and head. Other jewellery I take off before I get ready for bed so that I can do my skincare without accidentally smearing my earrings or necklace.

I hardly take mine off. Only to clean it and if I’m cooking something super messy. The safest place for my rings are on my finger.

Everyone’s jewelry habits are so interesting. I rarely take my rings off except if I’m putting on lotion, doing messy cooking or heavy yard work. Other than that I’ve been caught by my husband painting the house with them on and he just shakes his head saying, “of course you still have them on” 😆! I wash my hands or sanitize them easily 50 times a day (work in hospital) and wipe them with alcohol 😯😯😯 “die Covid!”

Never. Not for a shower or lotion or anything. I don’t cook or garden so I can’t speak to that 🤣

Honestly, my hands are usually so busy that I take my ering and wedding ring (which are soldered together) off the moment I arrive home from anywhere. Then I put on my plain band. That way I have less chance to bang the stone/prongs into anything, and I have to clean it a lot less often that way too. I’m constantly putting on lotion, sanitizer, washing hands, etc., and just too awkward while wearing my rings. I always put them in exactly the same place too, to prevent loss.

I only tend to wear my e-ring when we’re going out (I can’t wear it to work, and at home, I’m doing messy jobs so often that it gets tiresome to keep taking it on and off) but since Covid, I’m trying to wear it more during down time at home, because otherwise I’d never wear it! I have little animal ring holders, one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom, so the ring always goes there if I take it off for a short while (otherwise, it goes in the box).
My wedding ring hasn’t been off my hand since our wedding day.
