All the time- except showering or hand washing. Of course if I know something is going to be messy I’ll take my e-ring off.

I take off my e-ring when I take a shower, do something messy with my hands, or when I go to sleep. Otherwise, it’s always on!

Only when I’m doinig something disgusting like cleaning chicken.   Or when I clean my rings.   Otherwise they stay on.

I do work in automotive industry, I’m not supposed to wear jewelry but I do, I always always have nitrile gloves on.

Anything gross/messy (putting on hand cream, washing dishes, cooking with raw meat) or when I’m at my martial arts class (no jewelry is a dojo rule, and my fingers swell when I get too warm).

I hardly have it on. I wear it to work or out with friends, but other than that it stays off my finger 😛

wedding band – never. its a plain band

e-ring – to shower, cook, apply hand cream etc. i always think rings with stones can harbour more germs than plain bands

I take my engagement ring off every night before I wash my face, and put it back on in the morning after I shower. I’ll also take it off to wash dishes, wash my hands, apply lotion, move furniture, etc. I don’t take it off at the gym if I’m doing cardio, but I do for weight training. My ring has a high setting so I’m paranoid about it getting knocked around or scratching me or Fiance while I sleep at night (both have already happened!).I’m also that person who ripped her retainer out in the middle of the night due to discomfort, so since I’ve only had my ring for less than 2 months, I’m scared I might take it off in my sleep and never see it again lol.

I only take mine off when I shower, dye my hair or am making Playdough with the kids at work (I work in a daycare lol) otherwise its always on. I wanted a bit smaller size so it would be comfortable to wear all the time. My wedding band diamonds are even smaller so I’ll wear it the same times. I wont wear either to make playdough and paint at work because I’m afraid I’ll make it a different colour or the diamond will come loose.

I have it off more than on. I don’t wear it to work so I’ve gotten to the point where I just wear it out with friends. At least it (and my fingers) stay protected most of the time.

I don’t wear mt e-ring only my wedding ring. I take it off when I put on salve, or am doing some kinds of physical activity.

Hardly ever. I have a small diamond solitaire, and plain gold band. I have some “play” rings like a halo ring from berricle, but I couldn’t imagine wearing that 24/7. That’s one of the reasons why I went simple though for my real rings. (Mainly I just love solitaires, but it’s great it’s practical, too.) I sleep with them on, hike, clean, Ect. They never get in the way.

When I take a shower and when I put lotion on. Otherwise, they never come off.

I only wear them when I leave the house.

I must say I’m very interested in how much time you ladies have your rings off – in NZ most women don’t take them off unless they are doing something very dirty or risky – diving or gardening maybe.

I certainly intend to wear mine all day, almost every day.

When I do dishes, wash my hands, cook dinner, shower, dig in the dirt, put on lotion. I take the e-ring off when I sleep because the setting is tall and I’d probably rip open both our sheets and DH’s face.
