For those of you who got china (or have registered for it) for the wedding, how often do you (or do you plan to) eat off it? My husband and I got china that can go in the dishwasher, and we use it every day. I like getting so much use out of it and enjoying our nice things. How about you? Do your fancy tablewares make appearances in your everyday life?

We use our wedding china for semi-special occasions, so we use it probably a couple times a month. My husband wants to use it everyday, but I’m afraid it will get chipped or damaged. 🙂 Our very special china is my grandmother’s; we only use that like twice a year.

I voted other because it’s all still packed up in our basement. We’re in a pretty small one bedroom with no room to entertain, so I haven’t used it yet! But once we’re in a bigger place, I’d like use it for many special occasions.

we’re not married yet, and didn’t register for china. i’m hoping to have it passed down to me, and we’ll only use it for holidays and special occasions because that’s what our mom’s do. i’m all about traditions.

I don’t have wedding china – not married yet – and I won’t be getting any as I have my grandmother’s china. I use it whenever we think we need to have something pretty on the table. My daughter likes to get it out on random nights because there is something about eating off of the fancy plates that makes the night more special. We also use it for all holidays and birthdays.

We didn’t register for any china. It wasn’t something that we wanted or could fit into our condo right now. Later on, when we have a house and entertain for big holidays, we will get some. And I plan on using it at least a few times a month.

We opted for very nice every day dishes, which we use all the time. We didn’t register for formal china in a large part because we have no place to put it.

I voted practically never because I don’t htink we’ll use it for quite a while. We only got 4 place settings, so right now we’re still building our set. Also, we’re still in a small apt, so we won’t be hosting parties for a while. Eventually, I see us using it for big holidays/special occasions.

Not married yet, but registered for AMAZING china. We plan to use it every couple of weeks. We love hosting people for dinner and such, plus it’ll be fun to use it for date nights where we cook for each other.

If i did, i’d probably use it most nights–as least when we had a real sit down meal. i’m a coffee-table-during-tv kind of eater. I’m all about the “no point in having nice stuff if you rarely use it” phrase. My parents eat off their wedding china every day now =]

after i am married, i am goin to try to use our fine china for sunday dinners. it will probably be a while before we are hosting a big crew for holidays, and i want to make sure we are able to enjoy it!

We aren’t going to register for china, as my fiance is fairly certain we’ll end up inheriting his grandmother’s set. And even if we don’t, I’m fine just using our regular dishes.
