I shower everyday sometimes twice a day but wash my hair maybe once or twice a week just because it’s so long and I put curlers in 🙂

I wash my hair every 2-4 days. The day I wash it it’s kind of dry (even though I use leave-in and rinse-out conditioner), then the next day it’s nice and silky, which lasts for a day or two more before it starts getting greasy.

I shower every day and wash my hair every two days. I have thin hair with medium density and it’s just past the shoulders. I try to deep condition once a week since I also color my hair and blowdry my hair to give it volume.

I’m like @MrsBee

Every time I take a shower. (every 2 days)
But recently its been more frequent cuz of the heat. I cant seem to take a shower and not wash my hair. Mental blockage I guess. LOL

I wash mine pretty much every day. It gets oily pretty quickly, plus I work out pretty often and I sweat A LOT so it’s got to be washed after that.

Funny timing. My FH and I are in the middle of an experiment/"which one of us is right" session. He insists that girls wash their hair too much, and that if we just left it alone for a few days (no ironing, hairspray, etc.) we would have beautiful hair. So, from Thursday-Sunday, I’m not washing or doing anything to style it. I can rinse it and brush it. We’ll see if he still wants to marry me come Sunday!

I have crazy hair…it’s wavy and frizzy and there’s a lot of it, but it gets greasy if I don’t wash it every day. I can only skip a day when I straighten it (I’m guessing that’s because I use less product).

I have thick, wavy/curly and dry hair so I only wash it every 4-5 days. If I straighten it, I think it actually gets better if I don’t wash it for a few days. For some reason, I am always late to work everytime I have to wash my hair in the morning so I try not to!

with my lovely textured hair [yay mixed hair] can easily go a week between washings. i can wash it more i guess but then i’d have to straighten it. and i’m too lazy to do that more than once a week.

To the girls with fine hair who say they must wash every day or it gets too greasy – this is a catch-22 because if you wash your hair less (and tolerate the 2 weeks or so when you feel disgusting before you get used to it) then your hair won’t be so greasy and it will even look better when you do wash it.

I did this with my fine hair, forced myself to wash every other day even though I hated how I looked and thought it was greasy… after a few weeks it radically improved the quality of my hair, and the way my hair looked on days "off" was not nearly as bad as it was in the beginning, in fact it looked just fine – I always wear a ponytail on off days though.
