Please don’t judge anyone for how often the wash their sheets and towels…I’m just genuinely curious!
Before I got pregnant I was the one in charge of doing the laundry. Sheets and towels were washed every other week. Now that I am pregnant Darling Husband is temporarily in charge of the laundry, and he does them once a month…as his Mom did when he was growing up. I grew up in a house where sheets and towels were washed weekly….sometimes multiple times a week! After the baby is born I will become a Stay-At-Home Mom, and plan on washing the sheets and towels once a week.
How often does everyone on here wash their own sheets and towels?

I suck with laundry 🙁
There are 2 of us in our home and we have 6 bath towels.
I wash them all on Sundays and only put 2 out a time. We use them for a couple days then I bring out another clean pair. So we use clean towels every couple days. I have a similar rotation for kitchen and dish cloths.
Bedding is a whole nother story. It’s monthly! BUT Fiance and I both shower before bed every night and wear clean pjs so hopefully that’s not too bad.

1-2 times a week along with the rest of our laundry.

snowflake8 : Towels maybe once a week to once every two weeks. Sheets once every two weeks to once every month.
Ideally, I’d do it all once a week, but what gets done gets done. I do laundry on saturdays and I fit whatever I can in there. Whatever doesn’t get done waits until next week.

Every week on Saturday! We take turns on towel/sheet laundry duty.

snowflake8 : sheets are every week (sometimes every two in the winter if we aren’t sweaty or getting busy) and towels are when we run out because we have ton lol. I grew up using a towel once and then putting it in the hamper but now I use it 3-4 times before getting a fresh one. My husband will use his until I throw it in the hamper for him hahaha. Although if we’re sick I go back to single use towels so I don’t keep rubbing myself in germs.

Both towls and sheets once per week on the weekends, ideally, but about two weeks at the very MOST. I think you’ll find pet and child households do laundry more often.

I wash our towels weekly. During the winter, I tend to let bedding go for about 2 weeks before washing it. During the summer, it’s washed weekly with the towels.
ETA: If it makes any difference, we don’t have kids yet lol. We do have a cat but he’s not allowed on the beds and he doesn’t really shed much either. He has his own bed (it was a towel in it that I wash weekly) and a blanket on the couch (also washed weekly) that he’s allowed to sit on.

Sheets are once per week and absolutely not a second more. Towels are twice per week.

Everything gets washed once per week and towels, hand towels, tea towels all get rotated out once per week, so I have double of everything. Often I change the sheets twice a week because Fiance sweats at night 🙁

Towels we wash as needed, usually one load every couple of weeks, because there are only 2 of us, and we have a TON of towels. I change the sheets once every 2 weeks in winter, in the summer once a week because we usually are warmer and sweat more in the summer.

I do the same as my mum did growing up, which is once a week. I change bath towels more often in the summertime, though, since they are sometimes used more than once per day.

We use each towel three times before getting a clean one so I do a load of towels each week. I also change our sheets once a week but sometimes I’ll let them go two weeks.

I should/want to wash them more often but I don’t have a dryer so drying them is a PITA. There’s a communal washing line in my apartment building but it’s kind of grubby. Towels I will usually do every weekend unless I’m super busy. Sheets are more like every 2-4 weeks in winter and 1-2 weeks in Summer. If I get a nice sunny or windy day I’ll do the sheets and hang them out, but I hate if I have to try to drape them on the clotheshorse and furniture to dry for days in the winter. I try to do pillowcases every week even if not washing the other sheets. I think if I had a dryer I would do sheets every week.

I’m horrible about remembering to wash bedding and towels. I try to do it every two weeks or so, towels are probably less often though.
