snowflake8 :  We wash a load of laundry everyday. Towels and linen are washed 1-2 times a week. Towels are changed out every 2 days or so. Bed linen is changed twice a week.

In a perfect world, once a week but I aim for towels weekly and bedding every two weeks. In reality it can run up to towels every 2 weeks and sheets once a month, at which point they simply start to smell in our case. We’re both working 10-16h/per day and tend to fall behind on housework. If we had more drying space, we would get a cleaner once per week but as it is, it wouldn’t make sense for us.

Sheets once a week. I’m super anal about sheets. We also let the dogs on the bed, so I try to make sure they are always clean.

Towels, I think normally about once a week I switch my towel, then wash them when I have a few.

snowflake8 :  I was the sheets ever week on Sunday. I wash the towels every 2 weeks because we have 2 sets so I just swap out the old ones for new ones every Sunday. If I had more than one set of sheets I’d do the same, but for now I don’t so that’s why those get washed every week.

2 times a week even though we have plenty of towels. I can only use a towel once, maybe twice before I wash them.

snowflake8 :  I used to do weekly for both but there’s no time. So I change pillow covers once or twice a week and then every other week or so for the sheets. I change my face cloth three or four times a week.  I would like to do weekly for all though. But I’m going to read here to see what everyone else does. Maybe we are doing too much work. Lol.

At least weekly. I read where bacteria really starts to grow on towels after three uses. And the bed sheets accumulate dust and microscopic critters relatively soon, too. Yuck!

Winter we go through more towels because it’s cold and damp in our bathroom so they don’t dry well. we go from 2-4 uses to 1-2 before they smell funky. I wash 1-3 loads of laundry a day so whenever I get to them. We have lots.

Sheets once a week. In the summer I try twice a week but at the very least I do pillow cases. We have oily skin plus I do moisturizer so I don’t want build up.

I aim for once a week. Usually reality is every other.

Sheets once every two weeks unless we have an exceptionally dirty week lol.  Towels every few days.

About 3x a week. We have cats and my SO has some pet allergies; we’ve found that it helps manage the allergies if we wash the bedding and towels every 2-3 days, since they collect so much dander.
