As I was washing my own sheets this weekend (oh and lets face it, almost a week away from the bee so I may be a post wh0re today), I was wondering how often others wash theirs, or rather change them (whether it’s a new set or just washing your regular set).

Usually every 2 weeks to a month. I don’t really remember to change them and don’t have multiple winter sets.

here’s a similar thread from last week…a lot of people answered your question inside 🙂

We have one set of sheets that I wash every week. Ideally, I would love to wash them every 2-3 days- thank you Oprah.

I saw that thread kitzy but I took it as making your bed, pulling the sheets up to the top and propping your pillows just right so it looks like it came out of a magazine, not actually washing them.

we try to make the bed every day (just feels nice to get inside a made bed at night), but we only wash our sheets 1-2 times a month. we have other sets, but in the winter, we need the flannel sheets to keep warm!

Fi makes the bed everyday and I wash the sheets every Saturday.

We usually wash ours every 1-2 weeks. Darling Husband used to think that was crazy/a waste of electricity/water because he rarely changed his sheets before we got married… But I explained to him that clean sheets make me feel sexy (which is totally true), so now he suggests washing the sheet every few days, haha! Problem solved.

Here’s another similar one (I thought this was mine bumped back up for a minute!) 🙂

I would like to wash and change them once a week. Sometimes I’m really on my game and do that, but most of the time something ‘comes up’ that makes changing the sheets seem less important. So, I voted for 2, since that’s probably my average.
This weekend, my dog was sick with (TMI warning) diarrhea. My sheets are just fine to wait another week.

I was them once a week. I love the smell and feel of freshly washed sheets 🙂

We do every two weeks, sometimes maybe even longer. I always find that when they come out they make me itchy/stuffy to sleep in, so I put it off as long as I can. I suppose I could wash them without detergent, but that seems kind of pointless..

I do 4 loads of laundry a week. 1 darks, 1 bleachables 1 jeans/sweats, and then the 4th load alternates 1 week is towels and the next week is bed linen. Then every 2 months I wash the bed spread. I have been doing this long enough that I have it down to a system.

I voted once a week, but that’s only if the dog stays off the bed. We have a big lab and she thinks she’s small. She’s not allowed on the bed but she sneaks up anyway in the middle of the night.. usually on my side because she knows I’m a softy and not likely to kick her out, whereas Fiance is hardcore. Anyway she makes the bed dirty so when she’s been in the bed, the sheets get washed often, sometimes every day!
@lindseyrose: I agree with the way clean sheets can make you feel sexy. I love the combo of clean sheets, a shower-fresh feeling, freshly shaved legs, and a clean cotton nightgown.
